I use the bike in the gym minimum of 3 days a week, minimum an hour a time but aim for 90 mins if I can! I also make sure I hit my minimum of 11k steps as many days as I physically can (on a running streak at the mo!)

Thank you so much!! Not so sure if it makes much of a difference but I use the stationary bike at the gym. I go for around an hour and a half and as of yesterday just moved resistance up one as I noticed a few dayas ago I wasn't sweating as much as I had been before (hoping this is a sign my body is getting stronger or…

Going to a wedding in 3 weeks and want to lose another half stone before then. Need to be at my goal by the time MY wedding comes round in 2018! IVe 2 years to lose 4 stone so know I can do it but I wanna be there ALOT sooner of course!

I have thyroid problems and even on medication I find losing 0.5lb-1lb a week a good week so don't knock yourself! It takes time and you are steadily losing! it takes 12 weeks apparently to see the changes. im 7 stone down and still 4 to go but the worst thing I ever did was assume I could get 4lb and 5lb weight loss…

I gained weight on slimming world, despite exercising 5 times a week and running a 10k. The diet they follow just didn't agree with my body. Now I eat 1400 cals on average, high protein and watch my carb and sodium intake. Steadily losing 2lb a week (4.9lb last week cos Ive just introduced a new cycle routine!)
-
Ive lost 7 stone so far in total. With PCOS. I too at the start was eatin 1200 and exercising every day God gave me but soon realised it wasn't healthy. I eat between 1400-1500 cals and exercise at gym every other day for 60-90 mins and walk on the nights im not at gym! I use fitbit which is a great help too! It is…

Perhaps asking this in your original thread would of been better than creating 2 threads basically on the same topic hoping for the answers you didn't get in the first. You want an honest opinion, not just people agreeing with you.

I work 9-5.30 and get a lift to work at 8.30 so parking further away is never my choice! I do a 20 minute walk during my only half hour break of the day and find as many excuses to get up as possible (coffee maker is a great excuse and people in the office love you for it!) Also drinking loads of water means extra toilet…

From my own personal experience I follow more than just calories. I always make sure Im within my calorie target (I used to stick to 1200 and hardly lost, increased to between 1400 and 1500 and lose a steady 2lb a week now) but I also monitor things like sodium and carbs etc, and I do so only because I understand my body a…

Im not sure I fully understand but basically I only use the fitbit calories to determine what Ive burned during thre day and workouts. As I wear my fitbit and use it to track exercise I don't also add the exercise to mfp as that's double recording it. I use mfp mainly for the food diary and the forums for great support and…

I personally think its hit or miss - It works for some but not all! Up until March 2015 I had lost 7 stone, decided to join to boost my weightloss and long story short ended up gaining!! I just think the diet plan isn't for me, but equally have seen it work well for others!! I can only go on my personal experience and for…

I keep a small treat jar which Im allowed something from no more than once a week (most of the time its less than that - I still have loads of chocolate untouched from Christmas cos Its out of sight therefore out of mind) I also make my own homemade honey roast cashews. I only allow myself 25g a day and it takes away any…
