As a Brit, when I read about diet plans like this on mfp, I am glad I'm a cynical English miser who trusts nobody. The things Americans try to sell each other, honestly!

I have 30lb to lose, and am going to reward myself for every 5lb loss with a new make up item. My make up collection is ancient and boring, having been a poor student for 3 years, so it needs some restocking with nice things. I have already bought my first item (a berry red Kate Moss Rimmel lipstick) which will sit on my…

Love this thread, I was asking myself this the other day because I have always started with good intentions which have dwindled too quickly, leaving me frustrated 6 months later that I've just gained more weight. Reading other forum posts inspired me recently. I'm not your typical overweight person, I don't look like my…

I have set my activity levels on mfp to sedentary, and i use a step counter app on my phone. At the end of each day I add half the calories the app says I've burnt as exercise on here. You should see some of the pavements here in Manchester, UK. Some crazy assed town planners decided to plant trees ON the pavements. 50 years later, these trees have ripped up the surfaces, as well as taking up half of the (no more than 6 feet wide) footpath. As well as this, a lot of houses own more than one car without…

Don't know if you're already doing this but taking your inhaler before you start can help.

I love this. I do it on a small scale to keep myself going. 1lb seems such a small number but a bag of sugar has a fair weight to it. I especially like the idea of measuring my loss against Krispy Kreme doughnuts though!

Crisps. Any crisps. All the crisps. I can easily put away a family sized bag- 900 calories- and then eat my dinner
