I personally find 1200 calories a day excruciating, especially after doing it for a few days. I have to exercise so I can eat back the calories. I'm 5'7" and trying to lose 10 pounds from 160 and it's a constant struggle, especially at 45 years old. :-(

Thanks for posting this today. It's exactly how I feel and it helps to know I am not the only one. I guess the ones who achieve their goals are the ones who stick to the plan no matter how discouraging things get. I'm still in.

Yep. Link with your phone, then it sends it to the computer. I got one of these a week ago too and LOVE it! However, I prefer to take it off during workouts and use my heart rate monitor for the intense stuff, then I manually enter that into myfitnesspal. So far, it's working great! I find myself taking the stairs at work…

I am taking your suggestion and I changed my weight loss to 1 pound a week. It's actually a load off my mind and I think it will really help with at least backing off all these crazy sweeteners in my kitchen! I guess it's good to make observations and ask myself if i can actually live this way.

hmmmm...i guess it depends on how hard you work out and what you like to do. personally i LOVE spirutein protein shakes made with skim milk right before i hit the gym but i will do a big cardio workout like a four mile run or 60 minute spin class then hit a yoga class afterwards. the protein in that shake seems to keep my…
