Is that like Yuengling beer? if so, yummy!

Do you like it? DH and I discussed it and I'm almost sold on getting it. I need a newer car anyway, but I wanted to make it my reward for getting to my ultimate goal weight and keeping it off for 6-9 mos, which should be about when I wanted to upgrade (spring-summer 2016).

Ok so kind of a weird question but does anyone own a 2013-2015 Honda Civic? It's on my short list of things to buy when I get a new vehicle and I'm just curious.

Me too! So well written!

Ok so I’m still catching up, but hope everyone is well. I weighed myself this morning and I’m only 2.6 lb away from a normal BMI. I know, I know BMI is junk, but at least it’s something to measure myself with. I bought a new pair of jeans and a shirt this past weekend- it was supposed to be my “reward outfit” for losing 25…

I'm so sorry :( I think it's perfectly normal to be so conflicted.

I love Crepes, so much. So fluffy and you can stuff them with anything.

I did this for the same reason. I may end up with +400 calories on a day, but that's ok. I wanted my base amount first.

I've had 2 of them since March. I gave birth twice with no pain meds (just a dose of Stadol for one of em). I would rather give birth again than ever have another absessed tooth. Dear God does it hurt! It's a stabbing icepick pain that shoots down and literally made me mad. I was hunting for pliars to pull the tooth out…

I'm still catching up from the weekend (I don't post then) so I'll end up with a bunch of posts, but DH and I are looking to go to Punta Cana in January so I can't wait to hear about your trip (for Fluffy!) And I know it's not the same thing, but I have horrible excess skin from my weight loss (no, I'm not exaggerating, my…

I'm hungry. Like straight up HANGRY lol... I ate all my calories that I brought with me already, the store near work is closed, and dinner won't be for like another 3 hours... I have to go to Wal-mart tonight to get a hat for my youngest and water shoes for my oldest's summer camp that starts Monday and I'm dreading going.…

I did, too. It cracked me up. That thing looked alien *shudder*

I also want to leave this pic in here, because it cracks me up

I have a major case of "I want"s today. I want a dog (DH does too but we agreed to wait a year til our youngest is at least 18 months or older) and I went on Petfinder and found a Wirehaired Terrier puppy that I want so badly that if it weren't for the facts that a) he's in OH and b) DH said no for a year, I'd be driving…

My DH calls it "Heather's fat girl food" (and nope I'm not offended; I laugh every time) but when I was very heavy I used to LOVE nacho cheese doritos with either sour cream or cottage cheese. OMG so good! It's salty, creamy, cheesy goodness. I don't eat Doritos anymore because my stomach can't handle them :(

I actually eat low carb (and not because it's trendy, I have IR and PCOS so when I eat the way I'm supposed to, I generally do the < 50 g carbs thing, too) but I do buy into the "carb reset" days of higher carbs. I'll do 701-00 g that day, stay off the scale for 2-3 days, and I'm fine. I time it around higher exercise…

The difference between my highest weight and lowest (which at the time, I'd lost 160 lbs) was insane. People held doors for me, looked me in the eye, listened to my opinion, etc. I was invisible when I was fat. It sucked and I actually went through a stage where I was mad at everyone for not giving me the time of day when…

Yep I have all of the old QAF DVDs.
-
Yep I have that same "issue", too. I like it, but it confuses me.

I ventured on to the main board. Nope, not doing that again. Staying here in my safe thread. Sometimes I feel like I should adjust my stats to show I've lost 139/21 to go instead of the 19 down/21 to go that I have now. I've been on here since 2009, albeit mostly lurking just because of the snide comments you get on the…

NVM, I'll go back to staying on the one thread. It's been explained way more in depth by more scientific people than me and you know the answer already since you've been on here forever. IF she is eating 1200-1400 and being accurate, which she asserts she is, and IF her maintenance cals are higher than 1200-1400 (given her…

Super Great Shark is my favorite and I always think of Bruce too :)

I like it and do well on it, but I'm Insulin Resistant and have a lot of dietary restrictions, so higher carb or even SAD recommendations don't work for me. I don't usually go totally crazy, though- I vary carb counts a lot but my net can be anywhere from 30-70 g, depending on the day or exercise. I've done as high as 100…

I pretty much second the "up your calories" statement. But I also really want your gym shirt in your pic- it's awesome!

So I'm doing the happy dance- I wore a pair of pants to work that although they say size 6, let's be real, they're vanity sized and I'm really more like a 10. But... I haven't been able to wear these pants since before I was pregnant with my 9 month old, so almost 2 years? 2 years? something like that. And I'm now down to…

I'd love to know! Our 3.5 yr old is finally (mostly) potty trained, but we started at 2.5 and it took him a good 8 months. Then again, he's exceptionally stubborn and headstrong.

Natalija (nn Natalie) was going to be my youngest son's name, until they told us he was a boy. I LOVE that name. I seriously would name a dog that or something if I could since DH says no more kids.
-
Oh me too! But only the blue medicated Chapstick kind.
-
I hated my name so much and how popular it was that I gave my kids "European sounding" names- Aleksandar and Leonid. (they go by Aleks and Leo, though, which is about as common as you can get, guess).

I actually know a couple Sawsans :) I love the name. I live near Detroit, and Dearborn (which is basically a huge city next to Detroit) has a large population of Arab Americans, I grew up with a lot of names like Sawsan, Rima, Fatima, Nasir, etc. My son has an Ahmad, Fatima, and an Omar in his preschool class. I love…
