I am planning to pre-log as an estimate so I can better control myself on Thanksgiving. I know the calorie counts won't be exact but it will give me at least an idea.

If I can figure out how to make a chart, that'd be a great idea lol. I'll see if I can.

Dry cereal yum :) I try to get a high fiber/low sugar one. Try FiberPlus Cinnamon Crunch (doesn't have chicory root) or Kashi's Honey Sunshine. PB multigrain cheerios are good too but they only have 2g fiber vs. the 9 and 5 of the other two. If your work has a microwave, you could heat up oatmeal or a lowcal soup (be…

I had a test so no real Halloween celebrations for me. I had one mini tootsie pop but that wasn't for Halloween lol.

My goal is to get under 130lbs by Christmas (15lb loss) but I hope to lose at least 10lbs by then! Is there a separate group for this?

Does your school only have buffet style? The school I went to last year had both timed swipes and buffet (never tried buffet lol) and the school I'm at this year is soooooooo much better because its pay for what you eat. If its only buffet, just remember its going to be just as many options the next day so push off having…

My goal is to get to 125lbs by Christmas and my ultimate goal weight is between 115 and 120lbs. Height: 5'8" (small frame) HW/SW: 156.6lbs CW: 147.8lbs I'm a college student w/o a gyrm (and on the meal plan) so I don't really have an exercise regime. Mostly walking and some light strength training (since I don't really…

Totally! If a shorter girl has some extra weight on her, she can still be considered cute and adorable. You get a tall girl with the same BMI and she's considered fat or just "big". It is so much worse when you're tall, asian and not tiny. :(
-
Personally I don't feel very comfortable with it but I've never turned a guy down just because of his height. (One guy was like 5'1") I prefer people to be taller than me in general so I'm definitely more attracted to taller guys. Someone over 6ft would be great ;)

I've made tuna salad with plain nonfat yogurt instead of mayo. It's a little weird since its sweeter and it works much better to make chicken salad. Try using plain nonfat greek yogurt since it has a tangy taste to it. I like eating tuna salad on lettuce instead of bread also.

Fruit, nuts, granola bars, dry cereal, dried fruit, cold pancakes, granola, soymilk, wheat thins w/ almond butter and all-natural preserves. Target also sells prepackaged ready-to-eat healthy meals. They are a bit pricey and have never had them but they sound pretty good. They are called Go-picnic and have things like…

Look up the menu online and look up the calories for the main ingredients. A rough estimate should be good enough as long as you are going out only once and awhile. See if you can share a dish with your boyfriend instead of by yourself (or at least share the dessert lol). Eat very slowly and savor the food while bringing…

Distractions. Talk to someone on the phone. Drink water. Workout. Watch television. Watch weight loss shows. Go to sleep. Write. Look up funny youtube videos. Look up pictures of clothes you want to wear. OR spend hours on MFP doing nothing lol.

It could be your body is just used to running on more than 1,200 cal per day. I'm 5'8" and I haven't had too much of a problem with it (when I'm at school at least lol).
-
You won't go immediately into starvation mode if you have extra fat to burn off. But maybe I'm a bad person to ask since I'm consistently under 1000 eating alone lol.
-
yeah but my little 3lb weights probably aren't going to be enough for strength training and fat loss.
-
Maybe i should mention I'm in college. I have no car, no skis (or ability to ski lol), no DVD player for my 30DS and I can only exercise indoors when my roommates aren't there (i live in a tiny box). I like jumping jacks and I do the usual crunches/push-ups/hand-weights but I need some more fat burning ideas.

Once you go back to a higher calorie intake after a diet, you will gain more weight than someone who has consistently been eating that much since you're body isn't used to eat. It sucks because I went home for four days and ate like a normal person. (as in not under 1000 cal) and I gained 3 pounds. If you want to start…

Sherlock BBC is AMAZING! Pysch and Grimm are pretty good. The new Covert Affairs season is about to resume.

Like what I see in the mirror and feel confident. Fit my old clothes comfortable or move to a smaller size. Not feel so self-concious about everything.

Love cooking and baking. Butter can be replaced with canola oil which can also be replaced with plain nonfat yogurt which can be replaced by applesauce and/or bananas. I also tend to bake vegan (no eggs, milk, butter) Also add a lot of spices to your dishes because they add a lot of flavor for no calories. Just message me…

how high is the level mfp gave you? the automatic it set for me was waaaay under what it should have been. I think I set it at like 30 or something and its been a lot harder to eat under calories/sugar/fat and still make fiber and protein goals.
