Chew gum like a mad person. Drink water until you can't fit anything in your stomach. Workout.

    That's all I got lol.

Distractions. Talk to someone on the phone. Drink water. Workout. Watch television. Watch weight loss shows. Go to sleep. Write. Look up funny youtube videos. Look up pictures of clothes you want to wear.
OR spend hours on MFP doing nothing lol.

Paint your finger nails! I tell people this all the time. It takes up the better part of an hour, renders your hands completely useless (there by inhibiting your ability to eat) AND you'll always have cute manicures. Include your toes so you can't even walk to the kitchen :)

It's so hard, it's something I have no idea how to stick with. These are all great suggestions. I think a go to plan is a good idea, anything to get you (me, us) away from food. Cleaning the house can be really rewarding, it's way more zen after and I feel good, then less likely to turn to food for a pick me up. Taking a hot shower is a good idea. Sex! Hellooo... or knitting. Think about all the great things we could do with our time when avoiding caving.

I also find that it's mostly when I'm at home.. I don't want to have to LEAVE home everytime I crave something, but maybe going for a 5 minute walk each time could be beneficial. =P

It really depends on what the craving is, usually I just look at my daily calorie allowance and see what I have left and if there is room I might go for it or at least within reason.

I was actually doing that originally.. But then I found myself having a half cup of ice cream or a square or 2 of dark chocolate 4 or 5 out of 7 days a week.. =(
