Congratulations on your new life style chage that brought you weight success. I am a firm believer that you have to do what works for you and the fact that your physician was involved rocks. Good luck when you decide to start maintenance, I hear that can be a struggle in itself.

Darn spellcheck added a W in my subject line, oh well guess that stands for WIN.

A friend of mine had the surgery... She had a bucket list of her favorite foods that she wouldn't be eating after the surgery that she wanted before it was done. Also she tried all the shake choices to know which ones she liked.

Never forget that this is a life style change so there is no RUSH to loose the weight fast. Take one day at a time and if you stumble like we all do, still log and try to do better the next day. Get up off the chair and move even if you are just taking a walk or standing instead of sitting. Good Luck, we are here for each…

Congratulations at all levels! Remembe to take one day at a time and share your story like you are doing now to save someone else and keep yourself on track. You look great!
-
Good Job, can't wait until I reach that goal.

Great post!

Thanks for sharing. Give it up to God and live life for today, so glad you didn't let this get the best of you.

Thanks everyone, having this one indulgence will keep me motivated to sticking with my life style change.

I brew Dunkin at home and add powdered coffee cream, I tried black but cannot do it. Since I have given up eating junk food this is my one indulgence.

A Doctors office I worked at use to check blood pressure for free but if you were elevated they would send you to either the Urgent Care or the Hospital, just be aware and check the pharmacies policy on this so there are no surprises. Congrats on your lower readings and your run.

Yup this was one of the things I use to judge how I am doing with my weight loss. Hide your laundry detergent in your bedroom closet to keep it just for you.
-
Congrats to you, did you do any exercise during that time?

I have a belt that I used to wear when I was at my goal weight, I loved that belt and I gave everything else away long ago because I didn't think I would ever get it together again. But yes I try to look at pictures now and again in hopes I can keep it together.

My recommendation is to continue to log everything you are eating to be aware of your consumption. I had a double mastectomy in Nov 2013 prior to getting back to MFP and I gained so much weight from eating allot and the wrong stuff. You don't have to be active to loose weight it will just take longer, there are plenty of…

I eat 1200 calories a day but with my job I sit for 12 hours a day and never reach my 10,000 steps a day that we all should be getting in so I ride my stationary recumbent bike for at least 30 minutes 4 times a week minimum. I find if I don't do that then I will have a gain. It's all about what works for you so you loose…

1. After eating an unplanned meal and I have no clue how many calories to write down and cannot find something close in the database. 2. After eating something I shouldn't have and feel really guilty. 3. When out of town and no Internet.

Good job, you look great in that suit too.

I will continue to take my vitamins that my physician has suggested I take, we can see a difference in my blood tests since I have been using them.

I have a smoothie every morning, the alternative would be skipping that meal which to me is worse than having a smoothie. I add 1/2 cup of frozen berries(strawberries, blueberries, raspberries or blackberries) 1/2 of a frozen banana, 1 scoop of Whey protein, 1/2 cup of Dannon plain yogurt, 1 tablespoon of flax/chia seeds,…

Truly inspiring! Please share what you are doing that allowed you to loose 200 pounds in a year as many are trying to loose so much less and finding it difficult.

Select Apps, then select Tickers.

I aim for once a week to keep myself on track but I agree it can get obsessive and I have to pull myself away when I get the urge to do it more than twice a week.

My mother and daughters are very supportive and proud of me. I cannot expect everyone else to stop eating what they want just because I need to loose weight so I am just grateful that the stuff they buy isn't anything that I crave so I am good with it being in the house.

Good job, I too have been able to stick to watching my food intake this time. I have had my days where I falter but I will probably struggle with that the rest of my life. Keep up the good work.
-
Great job, I remember that feeling as well.

I agree MyMalfuntion7 (link was given above) is so very nice and even posted pictures showing her TT and Arms, her surgery is real recent so you can see what it looks like now. She is in the United States though.

Good Job, nice post.

I am not stumbling and falling down. I can climb the stairs with little effort. I have stopped drinking diet coke every day and drinking more water.

Good for you! Keep up the good work.
