Results day! I have lost 1 inch from each arm and leg. 2 inches from my waist and 2 inches from my hips. That's a total of 8 inches over 6 measurements. Pretty pleased with that! I would encourage anyone else to do it! I kind if miss it now!

My elbows were better in the long sleeved top but definitely too hot. Maybe I will try plasters! Has anyone else got sore knees? It doesn't hurt to walk but they just twinge when I sit down/stand up!

The pain after the first few days is definitely unforgettable! I've just done day 3 of level 3. I have to say I am enjoying level 3 and I am so much fitter and stronger. Level 2 day 8 done! Still on track. Finding parts of level 2 quite hard. I think it's the amount of arm and shoulder work! I took a sneak peak at level 3. Looks good! How is everyone else doing?

I'm the same. I gained 4Ibs the first week and lost it again on the second week so I'm back to where I started! I have lost inches around my body though which is good. I brought 6 week 6 pack with 30DS and will do that after as well!

Still on track. Only missed 1 day do far but did it twice on Friday. Level 2 is a killer! Everything hurts again!! Feels like I have just started level 1! I am enjoying though. I never realised you could do such a hard workout in your own room with 2 weights!

I brought both 30 day shred and 6 week 6 pack. I tried them both on the first day and 30DS was really tough but manageable. 6W6P was too hard so I am doing 30DS to build up my strength first and will then do 6W6P!

I'm going to do 10 days at level 1 so will move to level 2 on day 11. I am going to watch it first so I know what to expect...I'm a bit scared but ready to move on. I have found I'm bored very quickly of the same routine each day!

Just done day 8. I weight myself today and I have PUT ON 4 Ibs......HOW DID THIS HAPPEN?! I have read some other posts and a lot of people have said you can gain water weight as your muscles heal. It had better be water weight! I did take measurements and photos before I started so hopefully I will see results elsewhere!…

Aw, don't be discouraged and give up. I found day 1 really hard too and couldn't get through even on the easy version. I'm sticking with it though. I'm only on day 4 and already I am progressing and I can do more than I did on day 1! Keep going!!

Ha ha, opps. I meant 2 x 2kg weights. Using 5kg would be serious!! My arms hurt enough with 2kg!

It's an exercise DVD by Jillian Michaels. You can get it from amazon. You will need some hand weights to do it. Anywhere from 2-5 Ib each. You do the video every days for 30 days as described in a previous post. Jillian also does other DVDs. I have just done my 4th day and loving it.

Just done day 4. I have done it very late tonight at 10pm but was determined to fit it in! I normally do it after work around 5.30-6. I use 2x 5kg (4.4Ib each). My arms really hurt. Think I got weights that were too heavy!! I'm already finding it easier (not easy but easier!!)

I'm only on day 3 of 30DS and I ache so much! My arms and legs hurt every time I move! It makes me feel like I've had a good workout though! At the moment I'm pushing through. Once you're warmed up again it's fine! I'm sure my body will get used to Jillian's pain!

This is so true. Whenever I was struggling I asked myself what is actually stopping me? Im still breathing and my legs are still going. It's totally a mental game. Just push yourself through it but dont push too hard too soon. Just follow the programme and repeat weeks where necessary. I also find it useful to concentrate…

Do you stretch properly and do some light warm up work? Also, when you drink water during exercise take regular, small sips rather than gulping down loads of water in one go.
