Ok thanks. I changed my calorie intake and adjusted my metrics. You sound like you know what you are talking about and I took your advice. Thank you

Wait what?! I'm eating close to maintenance! My base calories is 1,200 and I eat back some of my exercise calories. Are you saying I should be working out more, eating less?? I lost 11.2 in 30 days so far but have no energy.

Thank you for the advice. My spinning calories come right off my Polar ft40 watch. My calorie burn is high I think because my body is in shock! Lol I mean my heart rate is always beating at a high rate. Now that I have been going to the gym for a month nearly everyday my heart is beating slower. I do see the calorie burn…

Chandanista thank I actually do drink water a lot. I just don't log it. That and the two cups of coffee in the morning are the only liquids I ever drink. I haven't had any soda or diet drinks or the such in 10 years. :)

Di. Thank you. I'm a big girl and not in great shape. My heart rate stays up there pretty high the entire time. The picture I put in my profile says level 5 but that is the cool down . I was pushing level 11 the entire time. Now when I lose lots of weight ,that may take more effort to burn that many calories in the future.…

For all the doubters I posted a picture in my profile. I went out and bought a Polar 40 heart rate monitor. I burned OVER 1,000 calories in 80 minutes. It is possible to do that on the bike. I worked hard! I am glad I bought the heart rate monitor to KNOW for sure.

Let's not forget to take into account I weigh 208 pounds. I think if I was smaller then yeah I think you are right.

Thanks Tiger Bite. I appreciate your post. I think I did say you did think it was possible and I appreciate that. I am a big girl and I just want to be healthy and do it right but also work hard. I don't think there is anything wrong with that. Anway. I will eat most of the calories back. NOT all incase it isn't as…

WoW ED!! Excellent weight loss. I am going to get a monitor.

Thanks. I think I need to get a heart rate monitor that tracks the calories burn. Maybe that will be most accurate!

Thanks JOJO. You are doing great with your lose. I want at least 2 pounds a week. That is still healthy loss right?

I am biking the entire 85 mintues at an average of 19 miles an hour keeping my heart rate at 155-165 on level 11, actual miles I rode 27. Why does everyone not think this is possible??? :frown: Its kinda discouraging.

I am eating back some of the calories I burn but not all. So I am not only eating the 1,200 only. Thanks for the encouragement!
-
Thank you Shawn. I am really trying to do that. I eat lots of really good healthy foods and have not cheated once!!! I don't want to hurt my body but I do want to have the best success possible.

Gosh at least thank you for saying its possible. Everyone else doesn't think it is. I keep my heart rate at 155 - 165 for the entire 85 minutes. Anyway.. what do you recommend??? that is why I am here. I want to know. Thanks!

I am not slim  I weigh 208 pounds right now at 5'6" but thanks ... I ride at the gym on a stationary bike. I do level 11 and program in my age and weight . I bike for 85 minutes and pretty aggressive level and I tend to go 27 miles with my calorie burn now at 1,000.

Actually no, I am not a YoYo dieter. I was very skinny up till 30 ... then just put it on slowly over 14 years. I was 127 pounds at 30. I just didn't care .... now as I am older and find it hard to do things and I am concerned about my health I just am going for it. I tend to go head first at things when I decide to do it.…

I am just sick of being fat. I am 44 now and wasted too many years being fat. I want to get to my goal by my birthday in May. I just feel like 2,200 calories is ALOT!! I do want to burn fat and not muscle and just want to hear like you said... if I eat 50% of my burn calories would that be ok? If others could let me know…
