Two oldies but goodies, both by Stephen King: THE STAND IT (you'll never feel comfortable around clowns again! lol) By the way, a sequel to THE STAND is coming out in the fall.

I didn't know Flynn had died, klross! I have a book or two by him on my Kindle, waiting to get to them. Please let us know if you liked 'American Assassin.' I finished 'The Other Typist' - liked it, but would have preferred a less ambiguous ending. Now reading 'Honolulu' by Alan Brennert. It has started out well.

Wow - you're amazing. You give me heart to keep at it!

If you like history told in novel format, you may wish to check out LONDON by Edward Rutherford. I haven't yet read it, but have it on kindle to read. My sister recommended it. By the way, I checked out your site. You've mentioned one of my all time favorite books there: F. Scott Peck's 'The Road Less Travelled' - I have…

Majored in history in college... so yeah, you might say I like it. :) My husband is the Alexander expert in our house; I'll have to tell him about your recommendation. I agree about Maugham. 'The Razor's Edge' was certainly a fast, enjoyable read for me.

Aw, I'm sorry. I know what it's like to be motivated and then have an injury you have to take some time to recover from. I don't know much about hernias, but I'm wishing you a speedy recovery.

Yes! I take a blood thinner for a clotting disorder (genetic). Because so many diet-friendly foods (leafy green veggies and other sorts that contain high amounts of Vitamin K) play havoc with the efficacy of the dosage, I have to really watch my food choices and how often I eat certain foods. But it can be done! I am happy…

The water tip is a good one. Since I've started exercising, I sometimes wake up with a muscle cramp in my calf. Either not enough water or potassium, I guess.

Thanks for the tips. I'm getting ready to do my workout now (this after going out with my family to dinner! - but I was good!). I will try the 15 minutes on the tm first, and then try for 45 min lifting, and then 30 min back on tm (if my energy doesn't desert me!). I need to incorporate a protein drink, I think. Guess…

Well, I guess my name says it all, doesn't it? lol I don't miss the feeling of a book in my hand at all. I'm about the words not the tactile feeling of holding a book. I bought my first Kindle when it came on the market and never looked back. I have over 500 books in my Kindle library. I'm a huge fan of Book Gorilla where…

No - I drink my coffee black and unsweetened, but I still count only water as water. I am a purist! Lol!

I greatly enjoyed this novel. Okay, if you liked 'Before I Go To Sleep,' I suggest you look for Kate Atkinson's book, 'Life After Life.' Put me very much in mind of Watslon's book. Very good.

I loved that book when I read it several years ago. A good read.

Just finished W. Somerset Maugham's 'The Razor's Edge.' Now reading book about Errol Flynn, "My Wicked, Wicked Ways.

Thanks, Cindy - I thought the same thing about the protein.
