You can create recipes within the myfitnesspal app. I do it all the time :) Basically you enter each ingredient and then myfitnesspal will tell you the number of calories per serving :)

I'm new also :) and I really like it so far! I've noticed that there can be more one way to do things as far as figuring out your TDEE. For me, since I work out inconsistently, meaning some days I work out longer than others or do different exercises that equate to different amounts of calories burned, I like to set my…

I'm so late to this thread but please add me :-) I love seeing other's diaries, it's so interesting and great for ideas! I eat fairly clean but also have two kids and strapped for time.... anyway I just try to make the best choice I can when I have options. And cook a lot!

My kids eat really healthy and they also get to have a treat once in a while :) Yes... they have eaten McDonald's.... yes, I know it's pretty gross.... Really it's just a once in a while or with the grandparents sort of thing. Usually when at a Christmas party or birthday my kids will be the ones who peel off the frosting…

Quite normal :) I still will fluctuate here or there. I've actually been thinking of just weighing myself once a week instead of daily but usually I'm just too curious and hop on the scale every morning anyway... Good luck with EM2WL though it really is so healthy and logical :)

Also the spaghetti squash pad thai is only 261 calories per serving! Cool huh?

Red Wine and Dubliner Cheese..... oh man. When I finally started counting calories and realized how many I was consuming just from this favorite combo of mine I had to stop :( I sooo wish that if a food is your favorite it would then have zero calories... not gonna happen though!

I do my workouts in the morning so I really need something to eat after that. Usually it's cereal with almond milk, oatmeal or some whole wheat toast :-)

that is a great idea! You could do like light coconut milk or half coconut milk half almond milk.... yum!

blogilates.com is the best! There is a beginner calendar (which is the level I'm on) and then there's a new more advanced calendar each month for..... FREE! The vids are all on YouTube and are really fun too :)

Finnish? Maybe.. :)

I loooove my red wine. But since watching what I eat I've had to start cutting back since it give me the munchies which can only be satiated with Dubliner cheese.... not a good calorie combo right before bed. They are my weakness for sure. I just recently started cutting back over the last couple of weeks though so I'll…

I use the free calorie burn calculator for android because I feel it's more accurate than mfp since you have the option of beginner, intermediate or advanced pilates. :)

I'm in my second week of the beginner calendar and love it! I've done blogilates on and off for a couple of years but haven't ever tried to follow a calendar or work out consistently :) anyone feel free to add me, I've logged my calories for over 20 days in a row!

250-300, My allowance for the day is 1430ish. I usually have old fashioned oats with maple syrup, cinnamon and blueberries and a black tea with a splash of almond milk :) I also like to spread my calories out. I try to eat about 200-250 calories for each meal and have about 6 meals per day.

I love the Fage plain nonfat Greek yogurt. I can eat this one without added sweetener and with some fruit or use it in place of sour cream on tacos and the like. :) I prefer this brand because the consistency seems smoother.

These three gave me similar outcomes and all include BMR: http://www.freedieting.com/ http://www.1percentedge.com/ifcalc/ http://iifym.com/ There is a lot of good information out there about TDEE. I would suggest you read up and really become familiar with what it means and how to make it work with myfitnesspal. The post…
