Normally i do the whole spreadsheet one that floats round, but won't be seeing my dad to do all his measurements etc till next week so gonna use the scooby one for now as that seems to be pretty accurate :-)

Shadow boxing whilst sitting down is a great way to get the heart rate up :-)

What everyone is saying is pretty much the point i was getting to. What your doing is fine short term but long term not sustainable (which might be why you have failed in the past. If you can do it without surgery - go for it. Surgery holds many risks in itself, for something you are proving that you can do without it. It…

Can i ask? If you are comfortable with what you are doing now, and pleased with the results, are you still considering surgery?

1st week when i came here - i just logged everything as normal to see where i was - i was netting about 800. I have gradually upped my calories to TDEE -20% which for me is 1750, gained like 1.5lb (which was to be expected when apparently i had spent two years eating so low) And this week is my first week that i am a pound…

Silly Question, but what is DDP Yoga??
-
feeling like i need a phd lol :ohwell:
-
Yeah - the site says that - but the box uses potato..... why would there be a difference between microwave and oven, and does this mean all frozen products need to be increased in calories to take out the density of the water it will lose.....

Thanks guys, i have been dealing with the gains (2lb) just coming up to -20%, because long term i trust it will work and i understand that patience is a virtue and i'm willing to deal with that. Just wasn't sure about whether or not a had to go the full way up for reset first. Thanks for your help and positivity guys :-)

I've been working for weeks and built it up to my -20% figure. I'm just wondering if i need to increase it slowly right up to TDEE and then stay there for a while before coming back down, or do i just stay here at -20%

Think i'll just look at those vitamins and buy them to make my own concoction. Seems like biotine is the biggest part of it

Ahhhh This is exactly the kind of answer i was looking for. TY. Like you all my bloods come back fine nowadays ( i used to suffer with iron deficiency anemia) but not for a while now. Doctors can be harsh sometimes if they can't see the cause of the problem i.e. the response i get is well everything looks fine i already…

In a sense yes there is. Everyone has different bone structures - like some have high cheekbones, or people are taller than others so its safe to assume that hip width and shoulder width of bones can be different too. That being said, i am in the same position as you, however i realised i was looking to closely at the…

Anyone in this topic feel free to add me too :-)

I'm so with you on this - i have real body dismorphia issues until i saw a pic of me on wednesday and realise how tiny i am compared to what i was and like you, these ladies above have similar measurements but some are 30+ pounds lighter. Guess the scale really doesn't tell the whole truth Weight: 158lbs Bust:36 round…

fingers crossed then. Thanks for your help :-)
-
OK thanks for that - should i still eat 1750 on the one day i don't exercise?
-
cheers for that..... i'll check it out!!! The problem i have is i have a desk job in the day so i'm sedentry, but i am a dance instrutor at night and cause i do the same thing all the time, my body is complacent with this type of exercise compared to someone else who doesn't do it often so without a HRM which i cant afford…

i just used a chocolate bar as an example...... not really a chocolate person - just wanted to make my question clear

Also other than my weetabix, and maybe once a week, i don't eat processed food. Everything is cooked from scratch, and just naturally seems to be low in calories because im a veggie and the vegetables i fill up on in my dishes are naturally low cal - thus low fat...
-
I don't suffer with hunger, so adding a whole other meal in of say pasta just wouldn't be feasible for me. Im a veggie so my meals tend to be based around vegetables, and my breakfast around fibre otherwise i can't poop ;-) So looking for something that isn't really filling but will do the job. Like i say, what are peoples…

i'm thinking apple with peanut butter and a protein shake, but i know peanut butter is a lot higher in calories, and could technically eat a lot of fruit or veg for the same amount :-)
-
Thanks - i'll have a read through :-)

The point im trying to make is im doin no less or more than when the weight loss was working for me so u take into consideration maths and you think hey im 50 pounds lighter therefore my body needs less food than it did before surely??? so im just confused as to how upping calories work for weight loss when you'll be…

Well maintaining doesn't seem to be an issue for me does it......

Cheers guys.. I have already lost 4stone 1lb (so thats what.... 57 lbs) but hit a plateau of losing so wanted to change it up a bit, logged what i normally eat and exercise on here just to see out of interest what my calories were as never counted before, so just takes some time to understand how eating more than i was…
