A Mechanics activity level

Hi All

Just after a bit of help.....

My family are all doing TDEE -20% and having great success with it. Now my dad wants to have a go but i am unsure how to calculate his activity level (everyone else was easy as they were naturally sedentry with exercise on top) He works 5.5 days a week on his feet which can involve all sorts, so what would you recommend i set his activity level at?

Thanks in advance

Normally i do the whole spreadsheet one that floats round, but won't be seeing my dad to do all his measurements etc till next week so gonna use the scooby one for now as that seems to be pretty accurate :-)

I would probably start at the 3-5 hour of moderate option for a few weeks and see what happens. If he starts to gain or holds steady, drop it down to a lower setting. If he gets a reasonable loss, you have your number.

I have an active job, but I entered my activity level as sedentary and then I add in my "exercise" manually. I did this because while I'm active Mon - Friday, the weekends...not so much. It seems to work for me.
