Thyroid issues will cause constipation. Consult with your doctor on your blood tests.

Your son is 8, FFS. He is still growing and processing the dynamics between his bio-dad and your boyfriend/fiancé. Your boyfriend doesn't seem to "get" that. Srsly - give him the boot. Tell him he needs to get his crap and GTFO. Period. This will NOT get better. Someone suggested counseling. Do you really want to go to…

You're calling them a sinner. To me - that is passing judgment. So yeah, it comes off as passive aggressive. And for many gay people, when they hear that particular phrase used by family members/friends it does not make them feel welcome, safe or loved in any way, shape or form.

I think the whole "love the sinner, hate the sin" is completely judgmental & passive aggressive. I also find it curious that this is commonly used in the context of homosexuality. Is this used when someone kills their spouse? How about if they commit assault? Adultery? Not honoring thy mother & father? And hey - if someone…

Go to the doctor. It could be from rapid weight loss. It could be a symptom of a sluggish thyroid. It could be a lot of things. Go.To.The.Doctor.

Encourage him to use MFP (or other food tracking apps). Even jotting it down in a notebook may be helpful to him. Show him the ins & outs of weighing his food, how to pay attention to macros and how to eat the right things to feel sated. Speaking only for myself, when I weigh my food - I'm much more successful at this…

"Sorry to be blunt, again - but I'm really not sorry. I'm a passive aggressive jack-hole who doesn't know the first thing about depression. But I'm going to tell you to cheer up and the sun will keep shining yet another day. I don't sugar coat my words, nor do I take the time to educate myself on the difference on feeling…

1. Don't worry about what others are wearing to the gym. Pay attention to yo' business. Yes people use the gym to socialize, or hook up - concern yourself about YOUR goals. 2. Complain to the gym management about the kid running amok. (They can talk to the parent or hunt them down or whatever). 3. A lot of people use…

+1 for weighing your portions. I make up my lunches/breakfast & snacks for the week. Dinner is a different story, but I still know what I'm making for the entire week. I make a menu for the week so I pretty much know what i'm having with a bit of wiggle room if I decide to make tacos instead of spaghetti squash. Grilled…

Spoiler: Don't have kids - they tend to do that kind of thing. ;)

I'm an arizona native that lives in California! LOL Just a small suggestion - have you considered bulk cooking? I do that on the weekends so I have several meals ready to go during the week. It just makes my life a little easier when dinner time rolls around. As an example - I made two different soups this past weekend AND…

OP: I find it concerning you've been counting calories since 12. Seriously consider talking to a therapist.

I got yo' back, dude! LOL! I think the excuses about hair/make up are LAME. and I'm a girl! If there's a will, there's a way! I use waterproof mascara & eyeliner in the morning, so when I workout at lunch I don't have to worry about anything running or smudging. I also use dry shampoo, oil absorbing sheets and pin my hair…

It doesn't take me 20-30 min to get my hair put together again. I have naturally curly hair which can be a b*tch. I keep bobby pins and head bands in my desk in case my hair is absolutely insane. It takes me five min to pin up my hair. Otherwise, i use dry shampoo, oil absorbing sheets & waterproof mascara.

Uhhh....I'm a woman (last time I checked, hang on i'll check again. YUP, I'm a GIRL! LOL!) and I'm able to get in a workout during my lunch, shower AND look "business appropriate" after my lunchtime workout. Excuses are like a**holes - everyone's got at least one. Now to address the OP: Get up in the morning and do some…

Hell no! It's just another day (I've been a single mom since my daughter was an infant - she's 13 now). This year I'll be seeing OTEP on 2-14, so it's gonna be an AWESOME night! For the record, if I'm in a relationship I'd rather get a card or flowers on a non-Hallmark day for no other reason but just because. If you…

What? It's low-carb.
-
I'll pick you up @ 7pm.
-
If I had a man, I'd let him take me to see Otep (they're playing that night near me!). So I guess I'll have to take myself out - what a tragedy! LOL

The crockpot can be your best friend, dude!! I love this site - lots of great recipes on there. And the lady does note if the recipe was a hit or a flop - which I really appreciate! http://crockpot365.blogspot.com/ There's also Skinnytaste http://crockpot365.blogspot.com/ - she even has recipes on how to make your own…

This is what I do. I do try to avoid the chips and salsa because I always overdo it. When I eat Mexican food AND I want to be good I stick with chicken tacos or grilled chicken salad (instead of dressing, ask for a side of salsa).

He may not look 80, but he sure in the hell looks crazier than a bed bug!

I've been the one that's been cheated on and EVERYONE knew except me. I was preggo @ the time and thank the GODS that I didn't catch anything or pass anything onto my child. The folks that knew...well I don't speak to them anymore. They really couldn't give me a reason why they withheld that information. I did end up…

If you don't have a food scale, get one STAT! That helps me - altho my weight has stalled (I have a sluggish thyroid, threw out my back, injured my foot, all in the last year or so). Anyhow, keep up the good work, invest in a good food scale, and start picking up those weights. ;)

LOL! I saw Slipknot waaaay back in the day before they were headliners in a small club in Phoenix AZ. Craziest show I've EVER been to. I've seen them at ozzfest and a couple of other festivals (Mayhem being one of them). I'm definitely more excited to see Otep, Fear Factory & Testament- never seen any of them live. I saw…

My first concert was a babysitting gig, my aunt paid me to take my younger cousin to a Garth Brooks concert. Ugh (btw, I am SOOOO not a garth brooks fan). That was 1992. My first concert that I went to that I WASN'T a babysitter, was New Years Evil - Phoenix, AZ - 1998. Black Sabbath, Pantera, Megadeth, Slayer. I missed…

Mmmmmm!!! In for the fried clams! Love those things!

Wow, I can't believe so many people would just toss it. I love to bake during the holidays but hell NO am I going to put the calorie content on the packaging. I figure if someone is avoiding sweets, that's on THEM. I mean, how do you go grocery shopping? If you don't want the goodies, drop them off in the break room or…
