My doctor told me that I was pre-diabetic. That scared me enough to start to eat healthy and get at least 10,000 steps in per day even if I don't feel like it. I have been logging in for a week now and I feel great. ..so much more energy!

I didn't think this would be such a long thread when I posted it! I see opinions from both ends of the spectrum as well as in the middle. Yes, I lost weight but I think my cholesterol went up. That diet has ALOT of meat and and unless you only eat fish I think it might be bad for your heart.
