  • It depends on the intensity and your weight makes a difference too. I've burned 600 in an hour several times (although not by Zumba, but any high intensity cardio should do the same thing). I would recommend a heart rate monitor. I have a Polar FT7 so I can see what I burned.
  • I love long hair. Mine goes to my lower back. On a man short to medium usually. I don't mind shaggy hair. No crew cuts. Sorry. :)
  • 16 year olds who lie about their height, age and who knows what else probably shouldn't be on here. It's not the place for getting advice on starving yourself...
  • I say what I mean. If I'm not fine, I'm probably TOO blunt.
  • My Husband loves this one.http://www.skinnytaste.com/2012/04/cheesy-jalapeno-popper-baked-stuffed.html He has requested it many times and it's not hot at all if you don't include the seeds.
  • He was just mad you called him on it. If he couldn't get you on that, he would have found something else to chasten you for.
  • It is if you can't get past being selfish etc. As for being able to do other things, marriage does not inhibit anyone from doing great things. If they feel marriage is a trap, they either have the wrong mind set about it, or they're with the wrong person! Lol.
  • Get a digital food scale and some measuring cups, and they will help you a lot. These are crucial if you want to get your calories right on here. Always check labels too.
  • Don't always go by the scale. Body fat percentage, measurements and how your clothes fit can sometimes be better indicators. If you are doing something completely new your muscles could be retaining water at first.
  • I tried P90X and wasn't a fan. It seemed like a difficult program for at home with all the pull ups and equipment (for me) and I also felt like I was standing around a lot with the program. He also rarely did lower body moves, and I can't enjoy a program if it's not making me do squats or something. Lol, so I got rid of it…
  • That's why you don't take the scale so literally. It will drive you mad.
  • You build muscle when you exercise (strength train). Muscle burns calories on its own to sustain itself, and changes your whole physique. It needs more calories to thrive. Just look at fitness models, or anyone who is in shape with visible muscle definition. They aren't trying to eat super low to look like that. :)
  • Just my experience with it, but since your metabolism is already kind of compromised by the disorder, trying to lose weight by eating low calories, only seems to make it worse in the long run. I kept trying this and thinking I would just strength train when I get to my goal, but after a while I would get tired of the…
  • Fat-positive? I think what matters is how you feel about yourself, your weight and your health. Not what society thinks about it. Do you think you're healthy? Are you pleased with your appearance? Do what you feel is best for you. I don't really see excess fat in a positive light, really but I guess to each their own.
  • Don't let it hold you back, you will for sure regret it if you do. Just use it as motivation. You have lost a lot of weight and it really shows.
  • Maybe distance yourself from people like that, or either tell them how you feel. Also, why do YOU call yourself fat in your profile picture? If you want other people to respect you, you should hold yourself to that standard as well and have some self respect. Captioning your profile picture of your ribs with "Why am I so…
  • 4-5 Ice cubes 1-2 tsp instant coffee 1 cup almond milk (or other milk preference) Stevia to taste (about 4 packets for me) (1 tbsp of dark chocolate cocoa powder turns it in to a Mocha). Blend together in blender (You can also add 1 scoop of chocolate protein powder for a protein mocha frappe).
  • -I had to adjust the driver seat closer to the steering wheel. Less cushioning made me sit further back in the seat, so my feet couldn't reach the peddles as well. ETA -Another one is stretch marks look a lot smaller and less visible. Because I was heavier, my skin was pulled more taught, and they appeared bigger and…
  • Lol! I guess you don't know young girls now days...They have plenty of miles and issues...I know they've outdone many older women by far..
  • Don't pick up the box of cereal (or any other food) like that, just portion out enough food and put the rest away. Keep the snacks that are too tempting out of the house if you feel you get carried away with them. Boredom always seems to be my problem, so go outside and get a change of setting if you find you're "bored…
  • If I went by how many times I was motivated, I would never do it.Lol. The last thing you want to do is wait around to get motivated or inspired. The only way I seem to do it is if I just literally do it not matter what I think, or how I feel. Other than that, I fail over and over. Also, don't try to go crazy and do…
  • I wish they would sew that flap in place, so it won't move. I love the look, but I'm constantly having to adjust the band when I wear them.
  • Ex smoker, and when I was 13, some friends and a guy I liked smoked, so I did to to be cool. It also helped that I could have easy access to them because my mom smoked. Sadly, almost every person in my family does. I can't stand it now, and am thankful my husband never picked up the habit.
  • My 24 year old husband has a very prominent receding hair line. Does that mean it's time to cheat on him? (Just kidding, of course)
  • It depends on the woman. Personally, my husband has been able to talk to me about my weight without me taking offense, but some take it harder, and it's very important how it's delivered. My husband simply said "I would love to see you the size you were when we got married." and it didn't bother me at all. I just said "Me…
  • LOVE hearing advice from people who are "educated" on something they have never experienced.
  • I'm so glad that not all men think this way. Men (or women) cheat because they are selfish. I've seen them do it to their skinny wives, beautiful wives, and wives who gave them intimacy all the time. Being overweight isn't sufficient reason so be cheated on, and thankfully, my husband actually loves me and stayed because…
  • It still could be from those things, however, have you had your thyroid checked? Swelling pretty much comes with it. Try drinking some coffee in the morning. It's a diuretic, so it may help.
