I saw the comment about meeting the "normal way anymore"...TRUE...But I met mine in person although he recognized me from online. I was following a local band on Myspace and didn't realize the page was not run by the band itself. A friend and I went to a show...and he came up and called us by name. At that time, I was…

Sure someone sai it already, since the post is so long, but don't forget about MGD 64. 64 calories and all the taste. I know that people who typically don't drink light beer find it watered down, but seriously, it's better than a world with NO BEER...AARGH

Not judging at all, but I will say be careful, and no matter what you decide to do, always have a DD. Make sure you get your work out in that day and stick to drinks that don't have sugary "mixers" added. I myself am a beer girl when I go out...and MGD64 is the way to go... 64 calories :) Of course, many places don't have…

Looking to join the Cool Kids :) As supportive as so many of my other friends are...some of them are much younger and dno't understand how much more difficult it is to lose weight after a certain age :flowerforyou:

That is AWFUL!!!!

I too just started, and when I only had 600 calories left for dinner, I was worried...but it's very easy. And for beer, Drink MGD64...only 64 calories and curves the need for a cold one :)

I believe Alcoholism has already been determined to be a disease

I used to have big thighs and small calves...now I have both. My biggest problem areas. My calves are muscle...yes, that part is true...but honestly, I don't want to look like popeye when I'm done losing weight. Feel your pain :)

That is awful. I'm so sorry you have to go through that. It may be that he genuinely is just worried for you and is showing it poorly. Don't want to judge too harshly, as people handle things differently. (although I would have kicked his *kitten* a long time ago :) ) On a better note...Do enough to make YOU happy...Do…

If you find the "need" to have a sports drink...there are lower calorie and/or sugar free options to most of them. I drink G2, which is a lower calorie version of Gatorade...but that is only a once in while treat...when I'm feeling water isn't going to cut it.

I agree, even salaried employees, most states have the law about allowing breaks based on hours worked :)
-
I also am a salaried person, and I agree with you. They think that means you should not have a work/life balance like the hourly employees. Thankfully my manager is offsite and my coworkers find I'm a much more pleasant person after my afternoon walk...so they push me out the door :)

Only on weight watchers is most fruit and veggies considered free...and I spent much time taking advantage of that. Let me tell you...the weeks that I filled up on bananas and peaches, etc...I didn't lose as much. So that should say something about being "free". no get out of jail free card with weight loss :)
-
Will you be starting again in July?
-
Anything you are doing that you weren't doing before is never useless. Everyone's body handles it differently. I was on weight watchers before I got on here and lost 30 pounds doing just the treadmill and eating healthier. Then I joined Zumba, and I lost three pounds in one week...of course, it all depends on your eating…
-
Ouch...only 40

30?

No "friends" should be judging you...they should be supporting you. I have fought the battle on weight watchers, and find it hard to meet people who support me. I am in a group on facebook too, but am trying to get off of weight watchers. I do not judge and expect the same respect in return...it's amazing how hard that is…
