Of course, I used it instead of flour for pancakes and it was great. Low carb, high protein pancakes - awesome! I will try and make some muffins too.
-
I like whey protein isolate, lower carbs and lower fat. I don't drink it though, after making protein pancakes just the thought of mixing it with water and drinking feels putrid and just a waste of a wonderful product.

Eating clean diet. Was OK (lost weight) but I got sick of the same foods (grains, lean meats all day every day) and 5-6 small meals. Now I eat whatever I want twice a day at evening and night.
-
I don't understand your problems. I eat whatever I want, including junkfood and I still lost 40 pounds. You know that you don't have to eat "healthy" all the time to be healthy? Maybe you're developing a disorder - orthorexia?
-
Well you can count afterwards. You don't remember what you ate a day ago or what?
-
It was because of too little salt. Added the usual daily amount of salt to a single meal last evening (was quite salty but whatever) and I have no puffy face today, it worked.
-
Well the excessive salt part is wrong, because I didn't have that when I ate excessive amounts of salt. It's a misunderstanding, the daily changes of intake is what can cause water retention.
-
I think it's because of too little salt. I almost completely stopped eating salty foods, before I ate a lot of those.
-
How can excess salt create puffiness, changing the amount of salt intake on the daily is what creates puffiness.
-
What? Do you have a blurry four pack?
-
No, the point of exercise is to preserve muscle. If it's weight training. Cardio - I don't know, I don't do it.
-
I'm fasting and losing all kinds of fat, preserving all kinds of muscle and gaining all kinds of strength!!! P.S. Bro-science is strong in this one.
-
Unless you're a complete noob I doubt that is possible. Weight lifting is just used to preserve strength and muscle mass during a cut.
-
Good results, lost about 35lbs in 3 months. Ate ice cream, fries and all kinds of good stuff.
-
The carb-up was a success. Did gain muscle glycogen weight or whatever it is, but do look considerably leaner, the squishy fat is gone.
-
Destroying the last hundred grams of carbs right now. I felt bad because I ate too much too fast, I just thought I couldn't do it in time.

I was 11 days on low carbs, low fat - Rapid fat loss diet (protein sparing modified fast). In the handbook it said that refeed should be 12-16g per kg of lean mass. My lean mass is 70kg, so 840-1120g. Or 5-6g per lb, then it's 924g, I think I'll go for that. After this I'll go back to a normal 2300 kcal diet. I just want…

I am talking about something like this. http://www.hellestrebl.co.uk/images/slides/1.jpg

Don't eat lunch. Easy.

I don't use that diary, I have no use for that, I prepare my food once a day so I calculate it all on the spot for the day. I also fast 20-24 hours daily. My diet was and is pretty much the same during these days - 1000g of chicken breast, a scoop of whey protein, 30g of low fat cheese, 1.5 teaspoons of fish oil, 500-800g…

No one has had this?
-
It most likely is. But I think it mostly is about excess fat on the face, for example I had a real moon face when I was 22%BF. Now I'm back to my regular face, that has been the same at even 12%BF, it's not really fat just a bit puffy.

I have bought a barbell, dumbbells, 230lbs of weights, barbell stand and a bench. Use them 4 times a week.
-
Just by measuring waist size. Lbs and inches have been consistent with lean body mass for now. Did a caliper test at the beginning and it was about the same as the waist measurement test. probably have to do it again. Also increased vascularity is a good way of telling that there has been some fat loss.
-
That's an approximation based on my bf% and lean mass now. Could be probably more. Yes 9%.
-
I hope it continues reasonably. Have only 16lbs left to single digit body fat %. From there I'd probably have to change my approach.
