  • Wow! awesome story. mine is very similar to yours except I've never followed through. Reading this today gives me hope and encourages me to continue on no matter what. Thank you! and you are looking fabulous. so pretty, before and after, but you glisten now.
  • This is truly awesome! I hope to stay motivated like you. I have 174 pounds to reach my goal weight. You are a GREAT motivator. Keep it up.
  • My trainer recommends at least 90 grams of lean protein a day. I try to stick to that while watchin my sodium and fat. Just make sure that your workouts are cardio and challenge yourself by the weights. Kickboxing works really good.
  • Use the whole wheat tortillas. You could use ground turkey or shredded turkey. Use your reduced fat or non fat cheese. The biggest thing is control your portion size.
  • I'm on two different ones now and its effecting me majorly. I have no trouble at all putting on the weight. But when it comes to taking it off, its so hard. I asked my doctor if there was something more I could do but she just told me to eat healthy and drink lots of water. No good reply but it does effect your weight.
  • I was on the South Beach Diet before. I lost alot of my tummy. You can always do situps. As a side note, if you hold a weight and swing it while doing situps they are easier.

  • cycling is the best option. it losens the joints and then keeps them mobile. You can try the elyptical but it bothered my knees. I've had 2 knee scopes and acl replacement.
  • I take a women's mulitvitamin everyday. I just use the equate brand. I couldn't tell a difference in the name brand vs. generic. My bloodwork hasn't changed or anything but I seem to have more energy.
  • The weight I grew up was that 1pound equaled 1 pound. Yes it may look differently and you may have less inches, but its all still weighs the same.

  • You have done so good! Keep up the good work. I'm not sure what to tell you about the excess skin but hang in there. I love mfp too. it helps to keep you motivated and on track.
  • I plan my meals each night before I go to bed. Thats every meal plus snacks. I makes sure that I take all my water that I'm supposed to drink in a day. Now my exercise is tricky.
