  • Unless I'm having my blood cholesterol checked, never. It's counter productive and makes me feel like crap. Not to mention, when I finally do eat again, I and driven to over eat.
  • Left over stuffed pasta shells with homemade meatball marina. I think I cancelled out the extra calories by working at the gym for 1,523 calories.
  • Lol! It's not the best diet food, but it is a great thing to serve to friends if you want to impress them.
  • Eat smaller meals and find food that is not very calorie dense. You can eat a lot more broccoli than peanut butter for the same amount of calories.
  • I would never do that. Eating the same things every day just doesn't seem like a good idea. And I don't like to limit myself to three meals per day. I usually have at least five. A serving of cereal is, at most, 150 calories usually? For just one cup? Not enough food for a third of your day. If any meal is going to be…
  • Get a blender. Don't skimp on it. 900 watts. Then you can take the produce that doesn't necessarily need to be juiced and blend them into smoothies with the ones that do.
  • I have been increasing my workouts recently. I've been burning about 500-800 calories each time. My goal is to have a day where I increase it too 1,000 and then have a meal in one of my favorite restaurants that comes with a side of french fries.
  • I counted the dried spices when I wrote a couple of recipes. I even tried adding the caloric content of a single blueberry.
  • That might not be a good idea if you no longer wear night diapers.
  • Caffeine. I have zero tolerance. I have never had a cup of coffee in my life. Energy drinks like 5 Hour Energy give me splitting head aches. I took a workout muscle building supplement that had a large amount of caffeine in it. I only took 1/3 of the maximum dose and it was enough to make me even more ill than the 5 Hour…
  • One has to wonder why the even bother putting pizza on their menus if this is what they are going to do to them.
  • Medifast. It was the biggest mistake I have ever made to try to lose weight. You don't need special diet food to loose weight. It wasn't that bad at first. I got used to the small meals and some of it doesn't taste that bad. But I found I was loosing almost as much muscle mass as I was fat! And since I have Muscular…
  • Perhaps you should eat some fruit and some small nutritional meal bars throughout the day. That will help give you energy. I have had to try and find ways to keep my energy up since I have chronic insomnia and absolutely no tolerance to caffeine. When I took a workout supplement that contained caffeine, I almost died.
  • There are fruits with lower sugar than others. Grapes have much more sugar than apples, and red delicious and Macintosh apples have more sugar than Pippin apples. Also, make sure you limit your starchy vegetables. Eat broccoli, asparagus, and green beans.

  • Eat more green vegetables instead and try to burn at least 200 calories by doing a cardio workout. The workout is a good idea after you have eaten some excess sugar because the sugar gives you more quick energy to workout longer.

  • I usually don't eat all of my calories back, but on my workouts I usually burn at least 400 calories. I will add a healthy protein rich recovery meal which does not usually exceed 200 calories. If I don't eat after my workout, I am less likely to gain muscle as my body repairs the damage from strength training. Worse yet,…
  • October 31, 2004. I had a small order of McDonald's french fries. I haven't eaten fast food since.
  • This isn't the best idea for a low carbohydrate recipe, but it's pretty good. Low fat waffles: 1/2C all purpose flour 1/4C whole wheat flour 1/4C corn starch 2tbs soy protein powder 1tsp baking soda 1tsp salt 2tbs honey 1 egg 1/3C extra light olive oil 1C fat free half & half 1tsp vanilla extract
  • Half a cup of granola with honey and nuts, a half a cup of fresh blue berries, and a table spoon of craisins. 259 calories. [img][/img]
  • Some times I have replaced some of the cheese I put on pizzas with avocado. It is creamy and nutritious, but not too rich in flavor and it doesn't over power the pizza.
  • I stopped buying any movie theater food.
  • Don't discount burgers. A simple burger without cheese, bacon, or other high calorie/fat toppings is often much healthier than some of the poultry or even vegetarian options. Switch out fries for seasonal fruit or some vegetable dish, and only drink water and your meal won't top 700 calories!
  • They had it last time I was there a few years ago. It looks disgusting and unnecessary. http://laughingsquid.com/dennys-fried-cheese-melt-4-fried-mozzarella-sticks-inside-of-a-grilled-cheese-sandwich/
  • Avoid the grilled cheese sandwich stuffed with fried mozzerella sticks and served with french fries. Who ever came up with that should be in prison.
  • Don't eat at Denny's. Just don't.
  • True enough, but higher quality premade or restaurant food can be deceptively high in calories, often higher than their fast food counter parts. I did some checking and found that a chicken breast sandwhich at The Cheesecake Factory has almost double the calories of their simple hamburger. And that's before adding fries to…
  • Make your own smoothies. Get a 900W blender and add some frozen fruits, fresh fruits and vegetables that can easily be blended (leafy greens, berries, grapes, etc,) maybe add some soy/almund milk if you are into that, splurge on a juicer if you want more variety of fresh juice and blend it all together. Avoid ice cream and…
  • The spinach has such a low calorie count, I just use the posted nutrician amounts. Most of the other fruits and vegetables I juice have calorie counts for juice based on the weight of the prejuiced produce. Type in things like "Navel Orange Juice" or "Red Grapes Juice" and see if it is measured.
  • I've never had any of those. I have up fast food entirely ten years ago and I stopped eating frozen dinners due to the sodium content. That pot pie looks so watery and unappealing.
