If you are just starting, try doing bodyweight workout. like lunges, push up, tricep push up, planks, or if you want to join a gym and lift weights or yoga. believe me it takes alot of effort and time to build muscle, and building some muscles keeps you healthy. Instead of taking supplements to build muscle try to focus on…

combine your cravings with healthier foods. i'm addicted to peanut butter, so i eat it with sweet potatoes or apples to keep me full quick. don't be too strict and eliminate all the cravings, its a natural thing. some days you crave something, allow yourself, but be aware to feed your body with the right food most of the…

any isolated workout to gain strength in ohp and barbell row? ohp 45lbs, barbell row 50lbs. my lower back is quite week. I have round back when I try to lift 130lb deadlift...

I suggest you to give yourself a break from the weighing scale. Weight always fluctuates. Been there, and its been 4 months and I haven't checked my weight on the scale, just base it on how your clothes fit you. My clothes seemed to get a bit tighter since I started lifting weights, but still fits. I know its difficult but…

if you want healthy foods that are dense, try having smoothies and include avocado, seeds, dates, with it.. you'll still be hungry again after few hours because its easily digested and absorbed by the body

are you open to the idea of taking protein powders? I recently bought vegan orgain protein powder. are you into weight training? Try adding beans and legumes or tofu. If you're into clean eating, there's a group on fb on whole starch low fat vegan diet, they recommend 2 fruits per day for weight loss and focusing on whole…

height-5'3[/quote]So the idea that women get bigger before they get smaller is nonsense. If you eat less calories then you burn in a day, you'll lose weight (get smaller). If you eat more calories then you burn in a day, you'll gain. If your muscles are getting bigger and your stomach isn't getting any smaller, my guess is…

Doing stronglifts for 10 weeks now without cardio, only leisure walks and yoga stretching. I'm trying to lose belly pooch, but I notice my back and shoulders getting wider and thighs getting bigger, belly pooch still there. I read an article where they say women will get bigger before they get smaller, but my clothes are…

Thanks for the links and advice! I actually find it difficult to eat smaller meals since I tend to not able to stop when I don't feel full... else I'll have a bad cravings that leads to somewhat binge at the end of the day mostly on high calorie food like nut butters...

Just wondering how do you guys resist if we say that you follow the suggested measurement to be accurate as much as possible to your daily target caloric goal and still find yourself hungry or still wanting to eat? Thanks!

Based on my set goal in MFP 68g of protein per day, I really wouldn't want to obsessively track until the smallest detail because I had bad past experience of being obsessive. And so I'm not weighing and just estimating, since I'm trying to intuitively eat. But recently went back logging but based on estimation and not…

I am somewhat obsessed with the scales in the sense of I feel accomplished whenever I see the scale drop even though I should be maintaining by now. However, I make sure I don't exceed weighing myself twice a month only the most. I would usually weigh the 1st day of the month and after getting my period. Try not to weigh…
