@beccaboo1276414 How's it going? Haven't heard from you in a bit. Maggie

Hello! I thought I would check-in again here. I just finished one project (a quick bit of paperwork related to my volunteering) and will start another. The perfect excuse for a cup of coffee! My next project is pulling together documentation of classes and whatnot, inclusive of CO forms, to renew my counseling license.…

@j29t Your baskets are absolutely beautiful!

Doing great; working to just lose a few pounds, then vacation, then repeat.

Jumping in the hot tub, right before bed!

I think your goal of eating only the fruit when in the office is a good first move!

Big tall mountains. Sometimes snowy. Truly beyond beautiful here, although there is most definite beauty in newly tilled fields in the Midwest.

OK, ladies, I thought I would check in, even though I have very little to report. I joined a challenge here on mfp. It is less a challenge (and not in the Challenge category) and more of a thread that is reinitiated every month. I have to report in every day on 3 things: 1)Did I exercise at least 20 min? (this is always a…

Calorie counting for the win!

We cook them until “tanned”, remove them from the stick, and then insert one small rectangle from a Hershey’s chocolate bar. My husband can’t have gluten and GF graham crackers are nasty. We’ve tried this and it works great!

Cute, yes, and certainly big!

I just saw a post of how to add pics and thought I’d try. First pic ever posted to mfp or anywhere, for that matter. My profile pic is one of another dog we had from many years ago; added for me by a mfp tech person.

@SbetaK I thought that I was the death of threads! I’ve thought that it is due to the age of the thread because then it wouldn’t be due to me. Sorry, everyone, for ending this thread.

I rarely eat fast food. I like to cook and we do live far out from restaurants, but an answer, what you probably already know, is that food prepping and your crockpot are your friends. Do a bunch of slicing and dicing on the weekend and throw things in the crockpot to have food already and hot when you get home. Do it a…

Just reporting in...two holes dug. Only one in the 'fresh' location was needed. Hard work, but doable. Also picked up some sticks and dog poo; it's a beautiful day in the neighborhood!

Hello, @MorticiaAddamsMSFS and @beccaboo1276414 and any others in our group that may be reading! Today, I feel that the good weather is here and here to stay; I was starting to have some doubts for summer. We have had an unusually wet spring (always needed), which makes it a touch colder. We now have temps for the coming…

I just can't imagine the problem of not wanting to eat enough. There was, however, 2-3 days of decreased appetite for me with COVID, but nothing of that magnitude.
-
What a great outcome! I'm so glad for you. I am sure that I am not the only one following your thread, who did not previously reply and has been rooting for you!

I've been thinking about this for a bit...I think because weight loss has been in the news so much because of the newer injection meds. I don't eat that many calories, when trying to lose weight or not, and I am fairly active (due to exercise, sedentary other than purposeful exercise, though). I am in my early 60's and…

Good luck on the blood work! Mine will be coming up in a couple months and my cholesterol is a bit edging into higher numbers. Weirdly, my good cholesterol is so high that doctors don’t get wired about the bad cholesterol number. Of note, there is some correlation of higher cholesterol with higher elevation. Something…

I’m with you @MorticiaAddamsMSFS I really irritate myself with continuously bouncing around the same 3 pound range. I mean, just get it done already!

I really bashed one knee in my 30’s (one of my dogs was involved, but totally my fault, and weirdly, I can’t recall which one), waited a month to see my family doctor (I figured it would get better), was chastised a little bit for not coming earlier, and was informed I would more than likely need surgery, but the surgeon…

Wow! A reminder for my calcium again! Dang! I need to set an alarm for the mid-day dose. Thanks.

Last weekend, my husband and I attended a party in our neighborhood. So much fun! We invited another couple over for tomorrow night and just invited our new next door neighbor, who we had over a week or two ago (both her and her husband). Her husband is traveling for work all week and she is just a bit unnerved bring by…

Thanks! Right back at cha!

Thanks!

The CT scan results for my husband came out really well…the cancer did not spread to the lymph nodes and all of the cancer was removed (as thought) from his esophagus. Thank goodness.
-
Thanks, ladies! You reminded me to take my calcium (just barely inside the the osteopenia range, a diagnosis thanks to my first dexascan last year.

I am so sorry to hear this. It is so hard to lose pets.
