I'm right there with you. This has been the most difficult for me too. I just really enjoy the taste of beer and the stronger, the better. I tried completely cutting off and that was a disaster so now I'm just cutting back. I'll have a small glass of red wine instead when I can and I'll have one or two glasses of beer MAX…

When I decided to embark on my weight loss journey, my number 1 fear was that I would have to say goodbye to cheese... I've been able to sneak little bits here and there thankfully but I do miss my wine/bread/cheese/pâté nights!!

I am also looking to getting started lifting. I will be buying the New Rules of Lifting for Women book soon but I have been wondering: is it possible to do this with a home gym for a reasonable amount of money? I do not have a gym anywhere near my place and I don't own a car.

Hello! I've lost 10lbs since starting calorie counting but I have another 15lbs to lose to get to my goal and I feel like I've hit a plateau these last 2-3 weeks... it's very hard to stay motivated :( I want to start weight lifting but find it terribly intimidating and I don't know where to start.
