  • Fiber really helps keep you full...could you find a wheat-free or gluten-free fiber bar?
  • i do turbo fire, and i log the stretch classes as "hatha yoga" to get the estimated calories
  • any clear liquor and diet soda is only 60 calories, that's what i always get
  • I eat something light like fruit about 30-45 minutes before my morning workout and it works for me.
  • I LOVE Turbo Jam! It's the only exercise routine I've found fun and therefore can actually stick to. I just started Turbo Fire 4 weeks ago and I love that too, it is extremely intense but I've noticed a lot of muscle toning from it.
  • a few more days and it'll pass...then you'll feel lighter than ever!
  • Generally different brands of protein offer very little else except for the sticker on the bottle that's different. The crucial thing to notice is if the protein is cold filtered or not - so that the whey protein is in its natural more preserved state towards the end. Most protein companies do not manufacture their own…

  • I find that I tend to focus on the nutritional density of foods rather than the caloric density, and it's worked for me. Beans are densely packed with nutrients and your body will thank you! Don't worry too much about the calories, because all those calories are there for a reason (as opposed to the empty calories in…
  • the blonde is cute...but if you have blue eyes (it looks like you do) a deep auburn will make them pop even more...either way you're beautiful!
  • haven't had the surgery, but I am getting a phd in neuroscience, so if you have questions I may be able to help
  • That was totally rude of her! If you're doing well and progressing that's all that matters, don't let tactless people bother you!
  • It would be a good idea to talk to your doctor if you're having trouble losing weight. Peri- or post-menopausal women have tons of hormonal changes and other body adjustments happening, which can make it tough. Make sure your thyroid function is still good, and your doctor may have some ideas about what foods you should be…
  • You can also get lower sodium soups, it's insane how much they put in the regular stuff!
  • my mom is a size 40i, she gets all her bras here: http://www.lindasonline.com/
  • I have the same problem with getting all OCD about this stuff. Try to relax, your body will adjust in its own way to your new lifestyle, and remember all these calculations are only estimates and weight will fluctuate from time to time. Friend me if you'd like some support! :-)
  • I'm not a nutritionist but I am trained in biology. The fat in peanut butter is mostly the "good" fat you get from nuts, avocados, etc. BUT it does not sound healthy at all to restrict your diet so much. There's no way you can get all the vital nutrients your body needs from so few foods. And even the good fats can be…
  • Strength training shouldn't stunt your growth, my fiance Joshua been doing it since 13 and he's now 5'10" at age 25. Watch your frequency though. If you don't give your muscles proper recovery time they'll break down rather than growing. Joshua is into body building and does a lot of research on muscle and strength…
  • I'm a vegetarian so protein is a challenge for me. I get 100% whey protein at bodybuilding.com and use it to make fresh fruit and vegetable smoothies using a food processor. I have some delicious recipes and I get lots of nutrients in! Just message me if you're interested!

  • I find cold food is good for my sore throat, and you definitely need nutrition when you're sick. I have frequent stomach problems so I deal with low appetite all the time. One way I get food in is by using a blender and making smoothies. I have several good recipes just send me a message if you're interested :-)
  • I'm new too :-) could use some friends!
  • There could be a number of factors involved here: water retention, hormonal differences, even muscle gain. Try increasing your water intake for a few days and don't despair! There's no physiological way you could have gained 3 lbs of fat in 1 day without eating your refrigerator! Fluctuations are normal, so wait a few days…
