When I won my age division in a local 5.5k race, sure there were only about four other people in the division with me, but I have never been all that sporty and didn't think that I could do something like a running race and actually come first in something, that was a pretty great moment!

Just tell him no, there's no way you are obliged to go on a date with him because he's a 'nice' guy and keeps asking you out, to be honest if he was really a nice guy he would accept the fact you don't want to go out with him and stop asking...if you're not interested in him and see no potential then there is no point…
