Thanks everyone I am under a dr's care and I do walk some, right now even that hurts, I'm hoping physical therapy will help that. :smile:

I have fibro and have to go slow, not do too much at once. Start out with short distances, lighter weights, and increase very slowly.

You could always make your own. It isn't hard to do and there are lots of websites that will tell you how. You can buy a yogurt maker or there are other ways. Then you know exactly what is in your yogurt. I make it and then drain it overnight, that makes it thicker like the greek yogurt, and it makes it less tart, the whey…

You could also get an insulated lunch bag and some cold packs. Then you could take hard boiled eggs, yogurt etc. They might keep things cold til you get to work, maybe you could put your food in the fridge at the fast food place.

The no fridge part of this is hard!! You could go with peanut butter sandwiches, whole fruit and harder veggies like carrots would also work. Maybe you could take cereal, and buy a small milk somewhere

I mix one container of greek yogurt, 1/4 cup dry oats, and 1/4 to 1/2 cup fruit, and put in the fridge the night before. I really like it and sometimes have it for lunch. According to the recipe you can make them ahead and keep them in the fridge for up to 3 days. I haven't tried that yet and so can't say how that will…

Put it in the crockpot with some veggies, or roast it in the oven with the veggies. Oven, probably 450 degrees and keep an eye on it.
