If I was the parent - my kid didn't follow the rules, he was not punished, he was given consequences. Consequences that would discourage him in the future from not following the rules. I say good on the coach - kids don't need to be coddled and babied when they are in middle school. Scrapes and bruises and cuts and sore…

The ones I have bought have always had a seal under the lid.

Sorry no advice/experience on the Patriot but I have a 2014 Wrangler and can happily say I will never own anything other than a Wrangler. Ever.

Here I come - jumping in!!! So far I am at 10.81 miles for the month. Time to get moving!

If you are stuck and have no options maybe. I personally do not like to rely on premade items, or fast food as they really aren't that cheap compared to whole foods. $3.99 for a kids meal (roughly) for one meal. For a couple dollars more I can get $3.97 for 2kg of rice (walmart) and a bag of frozen mixed vegetables ($2-$3)…

You could try incorporating one meal loaded with healthy veggies? A big colourful rainbow salad each day? Loading up on healthy veggies will help give your body lots of vitamins and nutrients that it needs. You didn't really touch on how your diet is ... so many this is a good start?

Low carb and vegetarian is tricky. That does leave you with much other than fats - which tend to be expensive (nuts, seeds, avocados, etc) Tofu is a great start. The only thing I can think of is stir fries with less expensive veggies (possibly frozen so you don't run the risk of wasting produce and $$) and salads. Big bags…

Fellow fat girl here! The cardio machines and weight area are separate at the gym I got to. I am almost ALWAYS the only girl that is in the weight area. No one has ever talked to me (other than to ask if I am done with something or if they can sneak in a set in between mine) I got over it pretty quickly - that being said I…

Have you considered working out on your lunch break instead of when you get home? Then you can go outside & make all the noise you want :) Stuff to do inside that is quiet: squats (bodyweight or with a backpack full of cans if you don't have access/money for dumbbells) pushups (you can do them on your knees or off your…

What do your workouts look like? Are you lifting weights to help reshape your body or just doing cardio??

love men with beards! So glad that it's turned into a "trend" as it finally convinced my man to grow one! <3 <3

Grains like oats, brown rice, whole wheat pastas, and barley low in fat, and calorie-dense. Beans also match your requirements perfectly. They can be fit into any meal and are very versatile. Add them to egg omelettes for breakfast (use only egg whites since watching fat), make burritos, add to rice, soups, or re-fried…

I have a Nike outlet just down the street from my house. I am very lucky and get super pricey shoes at huge discounts. I am willing to pay more for good gym shoes than I am for work shoes. My money always gets invested in my health first.

If you increase your fiber intake via veggies and beans make sure you are also increasing your water intake to help keep things regular. If you didn't eat a lot of veggies before it and you are not super consistent on your intake still, that may be causing the periods of discomfort.

serious effort was put in here! high five bud, you clearly have the right mindset!

Last time I checked Tough Mudder is not a race, it is not timed and they focus heavily on team work and helping your fellow Mudder regardless of ability. These events don't have to be hard physically, for some the challenge is mental. If you want a race / to compete, sign up for that - something where they have heats for…

I wonder if you considered how many calories were in your coffee - sure dinner might have been only 750 (although likely more if you were not weighing/measuring and tracking) Sugar and cream can add up quickly especially if you are using it to fuel yourself all day. A large coffee with 2 cream and 2 sugars can be around…

Love this guy - the things he does for his fans and children are amazing. Plus he shows what YEARS of work will get you.

I would tend to agree with this - take it for what it is, not as 100% accurate, really nothing is. We can only use it as a tool to help motivate us to be more active and have a better idea of what those active moments look like, but again not exact.

3lbs in 2 weeks is really great progress, just stick to it and don't be so hard on yourself.

My FitBit Charge HR gets delivered in the mail tomorrow! I am excited to better track my overall activity  https://fitbit.com/user/3BLHQB

my question would be, are you getting enough sleep? If I am short my normal 8-9 hours of sleep I am tired and run out of energy quickly. I would start there first.
