i would say yes, you are definitely exercising. i know i sweat my *kitten* off when i really get to cleaning ! i would be careful about the time and level of your log though. be cautious about "over estimating" what you actually did. sometimes when i had a crappy run, i'll put slow run ( like 12 min mile vs 10 minute mile)…

obviously you have never gotten hangry.. ive been saying this for years .. now all the sudden people are using it. you seriously do not want to be around me when i get that way.. ill hit you if you look sideways at me !

i run and i can tell you that on days when i just wasnt drinking water i get all kinds of weird stuff.. dizziness, buzzing in the face, hands sweating out of control. be careful about sports drinks. if you read about them ( unbiased opinion) you will find they have way too much sodium and your body doesnt burn all the…

try eating some good carbs ( bananas are good ) and make sure you are hydrated.. especially with the heat like it is right now.

i just ate one myself after being traumatized by the people at walmart !! lost all self control :(

artificial anything is not good. it will def keep you from losing weight of you use any qty of it. i was a 3 pack a day user... when i quit i lost 6 pounds. not saying you will but its bad for your innards. try stevia ( which is super sweet) or i prefer agave nectar.. which isnt great but its sure better than splenda. do a…

coconut oil is tasty.. i add it to my smoothies BUT you cant put it with ice or it solidifies. i mix mine with a banana, some cocoa ( mmmm) , a tablespoon of PB2 and a handful of spinach oh, and water so it'll blend

because IF you have not trained your kids and are just starting a lifestyle change yourself, its a process. don't be critical. i was very lucky that my kids preferred fruit over candy and a piece of baked chicken over a cheeseburger. i have a niece who ate NOTHING but mac and cheese and white bread for 4 plus years. she…

I find that listening to Christian rock while I run is THE most rewarding. I listen to everything else when im in zumba and "sculpting" classes so i take that while i can

Dairy protein is the very worst protein you can put into your body. Consider plant proteins. No Im not an activist. I have just read the indisputable facts.

Dairy is "the worst protein " that you can put into your body. I read the china study and it kinda freaked me out. I took myself off dairy a year ago and now I have very little allergy symptoms ( score !) Almond milk ( Blue Diamond Original tastes and acts most like cows milk) Soy is not especially good for you, especially…

I have long been studying nutrition so I feel I can answer you with an educated answer. Your body absolutely must have fuel to exercise. A banana in the morning is okay of you are on your way to the gym. Be sure to drink drink drink... before during and after ! and then EaT when you are done working out. Don't be stupid.…

It's different for most women. Especially women over 40ish. Once you hit 47 if you aren't exercising you aren't losing. I have been tiny all my life. 25 pounds later( .. and I was eating very healthfully and doing moderate exercise while gaining) I am running and still not losing. It's different for everyone but it's a…

Be careful about those burned calories. I'm a runner.. You would have to RUN for 12 hours or something like that to burn 4000 calories. :noway: Your body would not tolerate that. Running a mile burns about 100 calories. yep, thats all .. ( it also builds muscle and endurance and is good for the heart though! )

I just joined and my goal was to lose 9 lbs. i exercise pretty hard at least 4 days a week.. I am getting the same. Tells me to eat 1200 calories ( which it also told my friend who preceeded me in joining) No matter what numbers I put in.. it never changes
