Not an abuser of any type, mentally and emotionally stable, wants kids. If he is a football fan that is even better. Has a job. Someone who is willing to actually date and court for a while (I don't mean pay for everything, I'm good with Dutch) and actually get to know me. Confidence. Can handle my sarcasm and dish it as…

Good job, lots of hard work went into that!

Seems to be a lot of armchair nutritionists on this site which is ridiculous. There is nothing wrong with Paleo just as there isn't anything wrong with vegetarianism, clean, low carb, whatever.....there are a lot of ways to eat healthy and none of them are wrong, just what works or appeals to different people. Same with…

I am Christian but I school for non-Christian reasons and I prefer neutral science and history books. I don't like a lot of what goes on in public schools, with mandatory testing and teaching to the test, kids not allowed to go at their own pace or their own learning style, bullying, and just flat out kids I don't want my…

Oddly most people seem to have forgotten its a way of life....not a "diet" per se. Just like eating clean isn't a diet. Just a way of eating. Atkins Diet, South Beach...whatever. THere are some really odd people around here that are so anti or pro something they just can't see anything past their own opinion. Sad. If it…

Considering the detoxes I have seen for coke and opiates I would say....no. Detox for Oreos...not quite as bad.

Gorgeous!! You look awesome!

Considering I work in behavioral health and am also in recovery for bulimia, I assure the ignorant that yes, addiction to food does exist.

Not true, as all meat comes from farms. What is considered Paleo, for those who follow it strictly, is from farms that have grass fed or non commercial feed for their animals and free range. Almost always this is a small family farm and the meat can be found at farmer's markets, co-ops, directly from the farm. Meat from…

Precisely. My ex was 5'11 and pushing 300 pounds...nothing I did worked. Only now did I learn what the previous poster quoted above said (he had other issues but still...in a relationship in general, the above is true). I agree that 6" and in the 190s isn't really obese....I wish my ex had been that light.

I do Visalus currently (don't sell it, just do the shakes). It's ok. I like Amazing Meal, from the Amazing Grass company (plug them in on Amazon and you will find their stuff. Metabolic Reset from Nature's Way and Spiru-Tein are two other great ones IMO.

I use it daily. I seem to be less hungry when I take it vs when I don't, but I don't attribute my weight loss to it.

Love those books!

Seeing my weight written on my physical form for work. I didn't think I was that big. I hadn't been that size since I was pregnant with my daughter and had a lot of water weight. I knew it was time....

Exactly. Back way off and let him deal with his own emotional drama. Don't get sucked into it....a waste of time and emotional energy. You don't need that when there are plenty of other guys deserving of your time that are emotionally strong and stable and not wishy-washy. I don't think being coworkers is bad..sometimes it…

Not sure you're understanding the OP's original question....

Emotional cheating is just as bad. That's what you are in a relationship for. If you have to go elsewhere for emotional needs, you are in the wrong relationship.

Uh, because you don't do the stuff that he did if you have a girlfriend? If you are secure in your relationship, you don't go getting feelings and attachments to someone else. If you are in a relationship that you are done with, you get out and move on. You don't continue a relationship that you aren't committed to while…

Another person who loves the Fitbit One....in the research I did online it is the most accurate at a good price. There are other products that are just as accurate, like the bodymedia, for a higher price. It just depends on preference. The sole thing I don't like about the fitbit is that it does not count anything under a…

I am good for what I can do at home since I don't have time or a babysitter for regular gym visits. If I get it, then definitely getting some extra resistance bands that are stronger would be a good idea. Or maybe try Chalean Extreme...we'll see. Thanks for the advice, it helps :)

throw something different in a workout and firm up the lower body.

That is a good start. I do well with yoga type workouts so I often use other things to make a mix. I have other things I can mix it up with too....but I wasn't sure if YBB is intense enough. Hard to make a decison

I have no problems with stuff like this...I myself do Visalus (and NO I don't sell it!), I can't afford Isagenix, but I have tried and like their stuff. However what matters is you re-learn eating habits and learn about healthy foods and portions because once you stop, the weight can come back. I would try fruits and a…

I had to get a physical for a local temp agency....when I saw the weight on their I about fainted. The only time I had been that heavy was when I was pregnant with my second and close to delivering. My eating disorder had been in remission for a while so I felt like I could just do whatever...I was depressed and unhappy…
