  • Thank you both so much - these explanations make it much more clear to me. I will likely continue using the MFP goals since, when the math is done, they do seem pretty much the same.
  • Thanks very much Jim, I will do that
  • Sounds delic! Will be tying this ...
  • I will definitely look into that and let you know how it goes - thanks so much!
  • Yeah this is what concerns me
  • Thanks everyone! I will definitely try out white tape (thanks @hookilau) and maybe grab some KT tape and test out the difference. I'm sure, like anything, it works well for some and not others!
  • Do you wear orthotics? They would likely be helpful in correcting your stance and possibly alleviate muscle strain while working out. I have flat feet and my ankles roll inwards - I do wear orthotics but when I started to really work out again I had a lot of pain which has left me not being able to do much since. I would…
  • I've had never ending problems witth this app, which makes me sad because I love it. Mine rarely syncs to MFP and last night I got the "OOPS!" message. It also did something strange, where it logged my 5k walk, but then deleted all the values in the activity - basically it looked like I went for a walk on a 0km route,…

  • Also at 1200 cals. My diary is open to friends - anyone can add me!
  • @AmyJo0: Thanks for the help! I had actually went to see a podiatrist in June and he offered to do a stent surgery to correct my ankles and feet. Unfortunately it will cost me a good amount of money and can't afford it right now (poditrists in Canada are not covered). So I am seeing a sports med. doctor this week to get a…
  • Thanks for the help. I do have a decent pair of running shoes I just bought, but wasn't fitted at a running store since I have orthotics but maybe I should look into that. @DavidHusky that's good to know! I twist my ankles all the time - although haven't running yet which is why I'm concerned over this foot pain.
  • I used to get headaches after working out as well. However, I just went for my first run tonight in a long time, I slowed down to an average pace of 6km/hour for 36 minutes (ran about 4km). I definitely focused on keeping a reasonable pace and my breathing - I believe that's what was causing my headaches. Especially not…
  • Hi everyone! I'm new to MFP and Runkeeper but enjoying it so far. I just got Runkeeper yesterday and going to start the R4FL plan today - feel free to add me! (beemgrace)
