  • I'm just getting back into the grove of things again, but I find that I HAVE to plan my meals ahead. And then, no matter what, take a few minutes for you. Your boss, or whoever, will understand. And if they don't you tell them that if they want you to have good attendance at work, they need to let you take care of…
  • So, I made dinner for my parents tonight, but they are on a no grain cleanse for a little while. I decided to make enchiladas, but couldn't use the tortillas, because they have grain. So, instead I just used the stuff inside the enchilada and I put it on top of lettuce leaves. Oh my goodness! It was so good! I would…
  • Agreed! I think that's really cute!
  • I'm with you! I had about 127 pounds to lose, now I'm down to 109 to lose! I too am told all the time that I shouldn't lose as much weight as I say, because I wouldn't weigh enough, but losing 127 just barely puts me in the healthy BMI range! I think it's awesome how you call yourself "fluffy" I'm going to use that from…
  • The problem might be that you're not eating enough! Try getting all of your calories in including exercise calories and see if that helps. Also, you might need to give it a few weeks because your body is going to have to get used to having enough food again. You may even gain right at first, but don't get discouraged, just…

  • Most people on here have found that you need to eat your exercise calories! I know sound ironic, but here's a post that helps to explain it. As far as saving up for special occasions, I have no idea... sorry! hope this helps!:flowerforyou: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/9614-newbies-please-read-me
  • Yesterday was really good! It was definitely a 4-point day! I got all my veggies in and all my water and more! I also worked out hard core. I went to the gym and did weights for 30 min, then the elliptical for 30 min, and then I went home and walked 3 miles around the track for an hour! I think I burned…
  • I'm suffering with shin splints right now! So, thank you for posting this cause now I have the umph back to go walking again tonight (if only so the pain will go away:sad: )
  • This is a great post that explains all of the eating your exercise calories thing! newbies-please-read-me">http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/9614-newbies-please-read-me :flowerforyou:
  • ok... so once again last week I didn't do very well, but I'm happy to report that this weekend I did so good! I stayed within my calories on Saturday which is usually my hardest day and I worked out at the gym and walked 3 miles around the track! I'm going to try harder this week, but now I know I can do the whole weekend…
  • That's cool...Not for everyone
  • Cottage cheese has an amazing amount of protein... add it on top of a salad and it's delicious:flowerforyou:
  • really? Wow, that's interesting. I had never heard that! Thanks for the info!
  • When you tell the site how much you want to lose a week it sets a deficit for you (500 cals for 1 pound...) so then if you exercise, you have a greater deficit, which could lead to putting your body in starvation mode. But when you eat the calories that you've burned off, you are just getting your deficit back to a healthy…
  • YES! I know it sounds crazy, but it is what you're supposed to do. Good Luck!:flowerforyou:
  • Hey darling! I know you can do this! I'm proud of how far you've come. You really are a completely different person (inside and out!) Keep up your positive attitude (and let me know if you need anymore trips up the canyon  ) Love you tons!

  • Strength training will help to tone your tummy. I like to do crunches on an exercise ball. I also like lying on a bench then pulling my legs up to my tummy (eventually, you can add lifting your head while pulling your legs to tummy). These both are fun for me and they make my tummy really feel like I'm working it! Good…
  • We're pretty much the same here in Utah too! :grumble: I don't think I like it very much!

  • All I can say is William in this movie is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO hot!   :blushing:
  • Argh! :explode: I did bad this weekend, but I was really stressed (I know, not a good excuse, but the only one I have!). I bought a Nissan Xterra last November for way more than I should have, and with gas prices constantly on the rise I had reached a point where I was paying more for gas that for the actual car, not to…
  • Yesterday was a 3- point day for me too! 1 point for exercise 2 points for water Good Luck Everyone!:flowerforyou:
  • I like low fat cottage cheese and it's full of protein :flowerforyou:
  • I'm not sure and it's just my opinion, but I think there were probably other factors contributing to your friend's friend getting fat! (Just doesn't really add up in my head though...?) I like peanut butter and it is good for you (in a small amount), that's all I know!:flowerforyou:
  • :drinker: :drinker: :drinker: :drinker: Totally agreed!
  • I think we all need to keep that in mind and leave the drama behind! (BTW, we all have a mean streak in us!   )
  • I think you're doing great Chubby Bunny! You're also one of the nicest people on here who makes everyone feel welcome! Keep it up!:flowerforyou:
  • I did it for a month las summer and absolutely hated it! Most of the food was covered in a brown gravy and reminded me of cat food! The only reason I lost weight was because the food was so gross I couldn't eat! Sorry that's just my $0.02. Hope it works out better for you than it did for me! :flowerforyou:
  • I too have PCOS; however, mine is not nearly as painful as yours sounds, and mine can be controlled by bc and spiranolactone. I was just chatting with someone the other day and they gave me this website to check out. I haven't had time to check it yet, but I hope it helps you! :flowerforyou: www.soulcysters.com
