Thanks. I don't think I've been this weight since I was a teenager :D

Weighing in under 200. Woohoo!

Ice cream. Those little mini cups of Blue Bunny and Skinny Cow are awesome!

Exactly! That's why I'm keeping my mouth shut. I did tell my husband I would be making healthier meals, weighing all my food, and trying not to keep junk food in the house. He's been very supportive.

I'm in the 2nd week, and I'm in the 220s. I actually (accidentally) re-did W1D2 when I was supposed to do W2D2 and didn't notice until I was done, although it made sense when I realized - it was a lot easier. So I felt liek a bonehead, but it was encouraging because it let me know I was making *some* progress. My biggest…

I'm sorry he's being a jerk. Even if you've tried to lose weight before, that doesn't give him the right to be an *kitten* about it this time. It costs him nothing to be supportive. In fact, as your spouse, it's kind of his job description. Losing weight is mostly diet. Yes, exercise is good for you and will help you…

That's super annoying. Last time I was in Old Navy, a pair of jeans in 16 fit me fine, and a pair of khaki shorts in 18 were too snug.

Oh, good lord, this. I freaking love candy. One of the first things I bought with my first paycheck was candy. For me, summertime was probably the best time to change my eating habits, because there's not really any candy-focused holiday between Easter and Halloween. Going to Target or Walgreens on "half-off day" is almost…

I agree, let the laziness work *for* you! If I really, really gotta have something, it's usually sweet. I try not to buy them anymore, so that helps. If it comes pre-portioned, and I can buy just one, that's okay if I can fit it into my calorie count. If it's something I have to measure out myself, 75% of the time I'm just…

It's funny your ticker is right under the "me gusta" face, because that's exactly how I feel about LuisRobZav's pics.

Fantastic job! You look amazing. You have a great smile, too.

Congrats on the wedding and the weight loss! You look great!
-
That's great. Go you!

That's so exciting! Way to go! :D

A chihuahua. Glad it's gone, those things are annoying anyway. (Calm down, chihuahua owners, just making a little joke.)

I could read while I was walking, if I was on a treadmill. Running, probably not, but that's because I'm still a noob, so the only thing I can focus on is not dying.

I'm eating almond butter on a piece of whole wheat toast and some cottage cheese. Too tired for any more effort than that. BTW, never had almond butter before. This stuff is magic.

This is awesome! I'm stealing your idea and writing a letter to myself. Way to go on your progress!

That's one of my non-scale goals. Ratty, ugly undies (and bra) into the trash. Shopping spree at... I don't even know. Where do small women buy cute underthings?

My blood pressure being 130 (when it was always in the 110s) was kind of the "oh snap" moment. I wasn't in pain, I hadn't been exerting myself, I was just sitting there on an exam table. My mother's father died at 60 of a heart attack. I'm 31. The idea of my life being halfway over already was a pretty good wake up call.

Mine has been running in the 50s, which is nice, but the much better thing is that I have to press on an artery to feel it. Starting in October, I'd been having episodes where I'd be sitting at my desk or lying in bed, and be able to feel my heartbeat pulsating in my chest. It would keep me awake. I don't have that problem…

I finished W1 today, but I'm going to redo it next week because my legs have been very unhappy about this new development.

When you reply to a thread, it "bumps" it up to the top of the forum. It also adds it to the "recent posts" list in your profile, making it easier to find. It's kind of like a bookmark.

Cereal was the worst for me, because I freakin' love cereal (and I prefer to munch it dry). I always kind of knew I was eating way more than the piddly little amount they called a serving, but the first time I actually measured out 3/4 of a cup of it, it was so sad. And then when I realized that it's more accurate to…

I want to eat dinner at your house forever. Mmmmm.

Very inspiring! I like the way you write, too.
