What NSV did you have this week?

My lat pulldown is more than my body weight. I was completely out of the seat - will need a belt to hold me down next time.0

1. Noticing how loose many of my clothes are getting on me - some even a size L!
2. Feeling more confident about wearing a new swimsuit (in a size I haven't worn in over 10 years) on a trip I'll be taking in 2 months.
3. Having my daughter tell me "Mom, you're getting skinny!"
4. Riding my bicycle without feeling sluggish (haven't been on it in at least 4 years).
5. Enjoying many fruits and veggies and feeling full!
I have an updated one - Size MEDIUM top purchased that fits!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!0 -
This week I fit into a couple pair of size 1 jeans with no muffin-topping!!! I haven't been able to fit into that size since junior high! O.O0
-
Been off my bp meds for a week with no problems! BP is regularly under 110/70.0

My NSVs this week are:
I sewed three of my shirts smaller, in the past week. (took more than 2 inches off each side.) This is after seeing more shrinkage in my bottom half than in my top half, recently. So it's nice that the top might be catching up (or down, as the case may be). And then I realized that the arms of the one that was long-sleeved looked funny, because the sleeves were too big, too. lol Time for new shirts!
And... There are several ladies who work in my building that are just as obese as I was. I saw one of these ladies today, and then incidentally noticed my own reflection in a window, and realized how much progress I have made. (Seriously, I wish I could "see" my size difference more often - it was pretty encouraging for me (but I was a little sad for the other lady))0 -
I just noticed that my face has cheekbones. I pretty much forgot they were there since I haven't seen them in 13 years )0

1. This weekend, my mom said I look a lot thinner. A lot of my weight issues as a teenager came from her, as she is a slight health nut. It was huge for her to notice and compliment me!
2. I survived hosting a big party for my Grandpas birthday, and although I did indulge a bit and go over my calorie goal, I was not mad at myself in the morning and noticed the scale did NOT go up even once ounce. I had a few chips and a slice of cake, but I did not much on chips and dip all day and ate tons of veggies with dinner.
3. A coworker complimented me on my weight loss, and said he noticed my face is much thinner.
4. I discovered my work slacks are now HUGE and I may be able to go down two sizes, not just one.
It's amazing how much the little things matter, and instantly raise your spirits:) To me, it is motivation to keep going! In the past, I have started diets and never followed through, because they were just that, diets. This time it is a lifestyle change, not just temporary, and seeing the progress makes it that much easier to keep going!0 -
Yesterday I was changing in the locker room at work (I bike to work almost every day) and happened to turn/bend just right and all of a sudden noticed that my ankles looked skinnier. I haven't had "skinny" ankles in years! But dang if it didn't just strike me that they looked smaller than they used to. Then, I turned slightly to look at the back of my legs/ankles (to see if I was just dreaming), and noticed that I also have calf muscles now! I mean, they were always there, but now I can see them. I don't have "cankles" anymore! I was almost in tears. Made me realize that my hard work is really beginning to pay off!0

Rode 16 miles this morning, 4 more miles then last week, in the same amount of time.
My work pants are hanging on me fresh out of the dryer.
Dead lifted 145(3x10) yesterday and my legs aren't even sore.
Great job to everyone on the NSV's!!!0 -
The new pants I bought 1 1/2 months ago because none of my other pants fit are now too big.
Did 45 minutes on the elliptical and thought nothing of it.0 -
Today I walked 21.3 miles in under 7hrs, not bad for an old man.0

realizing thAT jogging 3 miles is no longer an issue as much as it is a fun routine0 -
NSV#1: When I look down I have to lean forward to look over my boobs to see my stomach. YES!!! That means that my belly isn't so big that it pokes out farther than my boobs!
NSV #2: at the bottom of my upper arm that jiggly hanging skin isn't quite so hangy and doesn't feel so lumpy.
NSV #3: my love handles are getting smaller and my saddle bags are flattening out
NSV #4: I haven't had a carbonated beverage in 2 months
NSV #5: I am fitting in some of my size 16 pants and fitting better into my tighter size 18 pants. Soon I will be throwing out all of my 18s. I have learned that I can't hold on to them. You just have to give them away so that there is no other alternative except to continue my weigh loss journey.0 -
I walked 3 x 3.5k walks today a total of 10.5k. I've been been building myself up each week. 8 weeks ago I couldn't walk for more than 10 mins without being in pain. Got surgery 8 weeks ago yesterday and look were I am now . Did not expect to see the improvement so quick. Happy is an understatement0

1. Resisted pizza at work on Sunday!
2. On day 3 of Insanity and did the "globe jumps" (only took a small break to catch my breath, on my fit test a few days ago I only did 2 of them)
3. Someone at work told me I was the prettiest girl in Texas (tried to play it cool, but inside I was giddy)
4. Poked a hole in my belt, cuz now it's too big!
I'm about to go try on a pair of jeans I got for Christmas that still have the tags on them, we'll see how it goes.
** Edit: just tried them on and they fit comfortably! Wahooo!0 -
My husband slapped my butt tonight and hit bone!0
-
I am back onto the original holes on my belt, instead of the ones I had to make.0
-
Pants are loose enough that I actually needed to bust out my belt... which is now too big for me.0
-
Needed a new pair of jeans, out of the size 20s, now a size 18 )0
-
I ran 6 miles straight, no walking breaks!0
-
i posted it. in a thread i made.0

A) My belt is not small enough to tuck snugly around my waist anymore.
Previously, said pants still stayed up just fine, today they started to fall a bit even w/ belt on.0 -
-I realized my forehead barely has those fat wrinkles anymore when I raise my eyebrows!
-Someone in my apartment building said "You're losing weight, aren't you?"
I'm ecstatic!0 -
1. Had a 3k binge (for the whole day) last week but still managed to fit it into my macros.
2. Went to my uni's orientation week market day yesterday and didn't succumb to all the lollies, cakes and chocolate bars that were on offer. Didn't even have any danishes or donuts! Just a jelly snake, jelly baby and lollipop.
3. Did 12,000 steps on my fitbit yesterday after three weeks of only walking 3 k per day (at most).
4. Didn't eat pb and butter by itself, was a sensible person and only had them on bread.0 -
I lost two inches off of my Hips !!

I couldn't wear any of my non-basketball/non-board shorts at the beginning of the summer, and now they all fit. Specifically, a pair I haven't worn in five years because the button would always pop fits fine, and I can't make the button pop even if I stick my stomach and waist out as far as I can. I could pop the button three weeks ago.0
-
1. all the shorts I bought a month ago are too loose --- went to Six Flags with my bf and my shorts fell off (still buttoned!) after we went on the Tidal Wave, good thing I had on my bikini bottom underneath the shorts!
2. able to buy and look good in size M shirts from Old Navy...actually had to buy new tanks because the ones I've had forever are too baggy!
3. played badminton, bocci ball, and frisbee golf without getting winded, and didn't have to take an afternoon nap after a big family dinner!0 -
My boyfriend said to me, "Bring your skinny butt over here."
I finished the first week of training for my first half marathon, and I feel great!0 -

I die now! ????????????0 -
I've trashed all of my granny panties.
That's one of my non-scale goals. Ratty, ugly undies (and bra) into the trash. Shopping spree at... I don't even know. Where do small women buy cute underthings?0
