BUMP! i used to work in a mcdonalds, and at home i sometimes make a gluten-free version of mcdonalds chicken sandwiches for me and my fiance (coeliacs - cant eat gluten) and i had no idea how i'd make anything else, but this recipe looks great: obviously with a couple tweaks to make it gluten free. Thanks for this!

5'4" and 137lbs - 1220 kcal a day, just because thats what MFP tells me to do and im getting by on it! some people swear by TDEE - 20% however; the links the others have provided in comments above mine are excellent :)

Aspartame is only bad for you in large quantities cos it can cause laxative effects - if you're not feeling these effects, you don't need to worry about it

Crohn's and colitis are inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD) and are very serious and potentially fatal. IBS is inconvenient but it is by no means in the same league as IBD in terms of seriousness as - thankfully - IBS does not cause damage, just symptoms.

I found that cutting gluten from my diet relieved ALL symptoms of IBS - even systemic, non-intestinal symptoms. Just a thought.
