Great topic, I asked myself this question all the time. I'm 37 days away from 2,000 days straight and have been doing maintenance for about a year or so. Truthfully my smartphone is the first thing I pick up in the morning to get a vague idea of what my day will consist of so I can plan on what to eat. A lot of it now…

Your can add me if you'd like. I'm down 100lbs and 40 days shy of logging for 5 years straight.

Interesting, it put me at 3, 025 and I'm really in maintenance mode right now. I usually schedule my biggest meal in the morning for breakfast so it could be anywhere from 600-1000 calories. Been doing martial arts for about 42 years. Just started BJJ at the age of 56 and LOVE it!!!!!
-
Yep, right here

You can do this, just remember a few things; it took a while to gain the weight so its going to take a while to lose or be where you want to be. do NOT weigh yourself everyday, you've got a goal set which is great. Continued success to your journey.

Well I'm over 50, actually 55.5 right now. I do kettlebells 5-7 days a week usually swings, just finished my first 10K swing month in August and then I try to get onto the mats for BJJ at least once or twice a week.

Hell yes!!!! Congrats to you and I agree lets hope you can get off of the diabetes meds. Now comes the toughest part which is maintaining and from where you have come I'm sure will be able to rock that as well. :)

My meal almost everyday at work so that I can stay on track: 2 slices Roma wheat bread 3-4oz. smoked chicken deli meat 1 lettuce leaf 1 red onion slice 1 bag of special K cracker chips usually come in around 350 calories depending on the amount of deli meat that I use.

No need to be in such a hurry, it took your 9 months plus to put the weight on, taking it off slowly will be much easier. It also sounds like your weighing yourself everyday. Just pick one day and weigh yourself, you'll know how your doing by the way your clothes fit. Plus you need to be a healthy for your little one.

Kettlebell snatches and 4 rounds with battle ropes maybe more if I get in the groove
-
I agree....wow
