Running, walking & dumbbells. That's all I have access too. Worked perfect. Lots of exercises, variations, plans to try.

Weights first. You won't get the same level of lifting intensity in, if you tire the muscles out first. What I learned during my journey is your body needs to use your stored fat as fuel for exercise. In order to do this, you must burn off your glycogen stores first. When you weight-train, you typically use glycogen as…

You bet. Not getting married till June 2015 but both my fiancé and I wanted to get a head start. You can do it. GL

Outstanding. Congrats to you.

3- 4 days lifting 2-3 days cardio 1 day off

The sad part is, it's not rocket science. All these years of trying different things and going up and down on the scale. End of the day it comes down to 2 steps: 1. Monitoring your macros. If you meet the recommended percentages based on your goals, you will not go over in calories and will be eating the right amounts of…

Doesn't matter how long it takes. Great job. You should be proud.
-
AWESOME. Well done sir. Well done :D

Same thing happened to my fiance. I got her a little insert from the jeweler which slips into the ring and is adjustable. Once she hits her goal, then we can get it resized. Cost $15. Much cheaper then resizing.

Outstanding achievement. You go girl :)
-
Simple. I sacrificed poor health and unhappiness. Makes it easy for me to remember not to over indulge.

Like any other form of meeting people, you come across all kinds. I met my fiance on-line. I met some ladies that have become good friends. I met some people where there just wasn't a connection but overall there were a lot of shall we say "different" people out there LOL!!!! Not gonna lie, you have to weed through the…

That's awesome.

Oh ya, It's a lot of fun. My girls and I like to play the different Wii Fit activities. They enjoyed laughing at me everytime my guy swelled up LOL!!! Not anymore suckers HAHAHAHA!!!!

Changed my life. The continuous support from like minded people can't be over rated.

One day at a time. That's the best thing I can tell you. Set small goals and allow your self to celebrate them often. The encouragement of others will only help if you are encouraging yourself. W.r.t. "I'll start Monday" OMG, I was notorious for that. Then of course Monday came and went as I found other reasons not to do…

Thank you everyone. Mondays are bad enough without seeing that weight change. Lol. Being so used to seeing it go down almost everyday for 3 mos, was hard to see it go up. I guess I increased calories too quickly, thought It was slow enough. I'll keep doing what I'm doing and keep watching over next couple weeks and make…

What a wonderful transition. Your doing great. Keep it up. You'll hit your goal :)
-
That's Awesome. Great job. That's what I'm focused on now. In maintenance mode by keeping current weight but replacing the fat weight with muscle weight. Nice to see it is possible with hard work.
-
Thank you so much to everyone for your amazing kudos and comments, especially the "you look younger" ones. lol!!! Definitely motivation to keep on track.

Look forwarded to reading it :)

No secret. Same thing everyone is doing on here. I weighed, logged all my food religiously. Pre planned for those days I knew I was eating out (found nutrtional info online for restaruant I was going to), or someone where else.I constantly looked up new, healthy recipes to keep me interested. Made sure I have "snack" items…

Just started maintaining also. I'll connect. Bump to everyone else too. The more we have in our circle the better chances we have at success :)
-
Great job. You should be proud :D
-
Always here to help a fellow Hamiltonian :) Feel free to add me if you wish.

0.2 lbs away from maintaining. I too will need all the help I can get, as the tricky part starts now. Feel free to add me (or anyone else for that matter) Let's keep all the success we have had so far going :D
