My goal for February....4-5 AF days per week with a max of 7 drinks per week (trying to stay in the guidelines for healthy consumption). To do it, trying to change things up and keep myself busy when I want a glass of wine. Also, more stress relief and yoga!

I like Quest bars....they are my go to grab and go
-
I love the fried onions they sell in the salad topping section....so good on top of a giant bowl of veggies and blue cheese crumbles.

For hard cardio, it kind of sucks, but like others said, you get used to it. I’ve found that I actually like wearing a mask when I run outside (it’s a “sport” mask) in the cold winter...my lungs don’t burn when I’m done like they did in the past. I would invest in an athletic mask...it helps it suck less.

Blended frozen bananas make a great smoothie base...or are just delicious alone. You can add cocoa powder and peanut butter, fruit, protein powder....lots of possibilities

I worked out the whole time and I’m up 6lbs 😕....need to get back on track before the holidays!

You won’t technically recover as the tear will never heal without surgery, but the exercises you do with your PT can manage the pain and help you to be active with it being torn. I agree with the suggestions to see a good orthopedic doctor to make sure there aren’t any other issues that are causing your pain.

Hi! I definitely need motivation to get back on track! MFP: Schmanciepants Weight: 170.4 Preferred weigh in day: Friday

Not successful, but have had a lot of PT for my hip (and 2 surgeries). You can stretch it by getting into a lunge type position and turning your back foot out approx 45 degrees. My first doc said to do it at least 3 times a day....or more

Ketchup makes me gag....if it is anywhere on a plate, I can’t eat anything on the plate.
-
They have nutrition info on their website...I like their salads..no rice, cheese, sour cream...add double fajita veggies...I can fit it in if I plan ahead.

I have hip dysplasia...and I’m 40. Had my hip scoped in Jan to fix my labrum and release the flexor (I couldn’t walk more than a couple of minutes), and they found a lot of unexpected arthritis. They said I would need a replacement sooner rather than later. My doctor and PT are great...I definitely recommend finding a good…

I did the whole 30 last fall...I didn’t lose weight and was tired all the time by the end. Once I started eating grains again, my energy perked back up....and I must have been eating at maintenance (no calorie counting).

Not shoulder surgery, but recovering from hip labrum surgery. Not answering your question, but can feel your pain ☹️
-
I just had mine released after a year of tendintits (along with a labrum repair)....my advice is to get a good PT who will help you with the right stretches and can help you with ideas on exercises.

Mine is to feel good looking enough to approach whoever I want without feeling like he is too hot for me...both in person or online

I recommend going to a specialist (which you should be referred to if they suggest surgery). I was mentally prepared for surgery for my labral tear when I was referred, but the specialist said that since I have hip dysplasia, he won’t do the arthroscopy.

I️ hear you...I️ have gained back about 12 lbs since March and have struggled with getting back into the healthy habits. But I️ keep trying....

The one time I saw it they were eating "sketti" which is spaghetti with ketchup and butter. I gagged (because I HATE ketchup)....and changed the channel. That was gross.

Would love a "mommy makeover"...aka tummy tuck and boob job...(I did have full term twins too, so there is a lot of skin)...I'm about 25-30 lbs away, so am thinking it might be something to look into next spring.....so far nothing has started tightening up like it did the last time I lost weight :(
-
My favorite now is a bbq salad....romaine, carrots, bell peppers, red onions, chopped pickles, shredded cheese, tortilla chips, any kind of meat/chicken/turkey - dressed with a mixture of BBQ sauce and sour cream. Yum!
-
I have used Chipotle's nutrition calculator, and a salad with double fajita veggies, a protein, salsa, and half of the cheese isn't too bad....I skip the rice and tortillas to make it fit.

I can sympathize with how you are feeling. I started online dating and feel the same way. I don't think my pictures are misleading, but I still feel like I need to get where I feel my best before continuing down that path.
-
I hate (seriously hate) ketchup, so a no for me....but ground beef, BBQ sauce, onions and pickles on a bun sounds good. Not sure what you would call that?

only jealous of happy relationships - and even then, it's probably more of a longing than jealousy.....mine is still out there - just haven't found it yet!

watching the snow come down - while working from home and attempting to entertain 2 seven year olds :)

Sons of Anarchy, Prison Break, Orange is the New Black, breaking Bad, The Walking Dead....I could keep going, but that is a solid month at least of awesome TV.

I typically eat my largest meal of the week on Saturday night - with a couple of glasses of wine. Knowing that is going to happen, I eat a lighter breakfast and lunch and try to make those meals as healthy as possible.

I like Body Fit by Amy! She is great....the workouts make you work, but aren't too complicated.

Single mom of 2 with a full time job......I focus on diet and workout when my kids see their father (Tuesday night and Sunday), and one on Saturday while they play. Once you find a few times that work for you, you make them work.
