  • I've heard that too, about cheat days. I limit myself to one every month/month and a half. I've been on MFP since Feb 2011 (approx. a month and a half ago) but I have been seriously working on losing weight since the beginning of Dec. 2010 (before that I went to the gym about twice a week and burned far less than 1000 per…
  • I definitely eat about 1600 calories a day. I've considered cutting it way back to 1200 but yeah, I wouldn't be eating enough. I'm already hungry all the time as it is, I feel like I could eat ALL DAY and still be starving!
  • What you said about watching TV while you work out is great. My gym has individual televisions for the elliptical machines and some of the treadmills. Whenever I go its like killing two birds with one stone -- I get to watch my favourite TV shows and NOT feel like a couch potato! Take yesterday, for instance. I watched…
  • Hi everyone! I'd love to join in! Current Weight: 155 Hopeful weight after one week: 153.5 GOAL BY JUNE 25th!: 130 It's gonna be pretty tough to lose 25 by the end of june but if I can even get to 145, I'll be super pleased. I'm headed to Europe in August, so if I can be down to 130 by then, it'll be a dream come true!!!…
  • I'm finishing this week with 6399 calories burned. Hoping for even more next week! :)
  • I've been doing this goal for a while but I wanted to join a group for it. Is it too late for me to join? I'd love to officially start tomorrow! My goal is 6000 for the week -- about 860 each day. If it's too easily done maybe I'll up it to 7000!
  • This is awesome, thank you guys so much!
  • I spend my time at the gym doing an hour on the elliptical or treadmill. I go six days a week and I burn 800-1000 calories a session. If I'm having a bad week (like TOM), then I'll burn 4800 for the week. On good weeks i'll burn up to 6000.
  • Thanks to everyone who replied! It's nice to know I'm not alone, haha. I'll definitely try staying within my Fat Burning Zone, I almost always go to the Endurance Zone. I'll do the planks too! That's Paul Rudd! I love him! I made him my tracker picture so I would always feel motivated when I look at him <3

  • During our TOM we women tend to retain a lot of water due to hormonal changes. I have the same problem and it worried me just as it worries you. Bloating is also extremely common. To avoid water retention it's helpful to reduce your sodium intake (because that always retains water), or try taking some calcium supplements.…
  • Stretch X from P90X is truly wonderful. It takes a while (about an hour, I think?) but its totally worth it. You feel amazing afterwards.
  • Oatmeal is a great way to stay full. It usually keeps me feeling comfortable from 7 AM til lunchtime.
