  • I never really liked milk all that much so nonfat is perfect for mebecause it has a weaker flavor. Ive pretty much gotten myself used yo low or nonfat everything. But I give myself a pass on things that are mostly good fats, to a certain extent.
  • Fudgesicles! they have the 60 calorie ones that have splenda in them (yuck) or the other ones are only 90 calories. yeah they've got the sugar, but they sure are good and only 90 calories isn't so bad if you budget for them.
  • Well I always allow myself dark chocolate because it's got health benefits. I always find a way to justify what I want ;)
  • The good: my butt, i've got kind of a big butt, but it's a good one. Husband likes it anyway hehe. I also see my face the most 'cause of mirrors over sinks whenever I wash my hands. The bad: around my eyes...starting to see signs of aging. ugh! Also my stomach. Just wish it was flatter! Someone said Kangaroo pouch earlier…
  • way to burst my bubble!! j/k thanks for the info, now I understand it more
  • I think some people have the best of intentions, but I do also think that a lot of people just like to feel superior. If they can point out something that you are doing wrong that they are not, well suddenly they feel great about themselves and if they had to make you feel bad, oh well. I agree, it is not helpful at all.…
  • *When people b!tch and moan about things that don't affect them in the slightest. *When people don't signal OR they leave their blinker on when they are not turning. *My husband...just in general *When I get on the phone and my kids, who haven't even looked at me for a half hour, suddenly have pressing needs that must be…
  • lol that actually cracked me up.. thank you..
  • get out of my head
  • lmao that pisses my brother off too. I never really got that
  • Me too!!! I don't know why, but that has always pissed me off. Just smile, say hi...i don't ask much
  • Well they say you should have one serving of fish a week (not that I do) because of the healthy fatty acids
  • Although a lot of people are probably embarrassed as you said, mine was private for a long time because it was the default and I didn't know. Even after I had heard people talking about making diaries public, it took me a while to get around to figuring out how to change it. Maybe some people don't even realize their diary…
  • hell yeah, what a great thread! I think beer is the culprit for a lot of my weight gain. I've stopped drinking beer, but still have other drinks. I've been trying to just drink red wine during the week and allow myself something a little stronger on the weekend. It does play hell with my calorie intake, but after a long…
  • There is a personal trainer that is a regular guest on the local news show I watch and he talked about the starvation mode once and said that that occurs after eating too few calories for an extended amount of time (can't remember how long, but I think it was a couple weeks). So dipping below from time to time shouldn't…
  • My god that sounds freakin delicious
  • Ok I have one that you will hopefully like. My husband and I always only ate fish deep fried, which is obviously not ok for me now. This recipe was a big hit. I loved it and so did my husband. The recipe says whiting, but I've also make it with Swai, probably work with any fish..... Whiting with Garlic and Lemon Recipe…
  • uh...yum! Sounds great, I've never had nutella, but this sounds like a good excuse to try it. I love the comical way you write your recipe ;)
  • If they aren't giving you any side affects, it's probably fine......Ok side story. I give the fish oil supplements to my son and I warned him not to bite them, but he's a 'hard way learner" and he bit right into it. You should have seen his face lmao
  • Welcome!! You've come to the right place!
  • woowooo hot momma!! You look great!! Very inspiring.
  • So you're saying that you made it for him, but then had something else to save calories and then he was moaning about you not eating what he did, right? I think you were right. You gave him what he wanted, he should be happy.
  • Well, first of all, I totally think you should log "drunken disorderly conduct" as cardio. That would be hilarious. Anyhow I always log my drinks into the day before since I hadn't gone to bed yet.
  • I totally relate to this. I remember looking at my so-called belly fat when I weighed 125 and thinking I needed to lose it. Now my weight has fluctuated so much I think back to how clueless I was back then. And I don't think I look "too" bad. I definitely can stand to lose some weight, though. Anyway I know what your…
  • I am 5'6" and shooting for 135. Before I got pregnant I was 125, but I figure that's just a dream now lol. I would be pretty happy at 135.
  • I love my betty crocker cookbook, because it has illustrated pictures on how to do just about everything, has definitions for all the cooking terms, yields and equivalents, as well as recipes. I don't do the recipes as much since I look most recipes up online, but it's a great reference for all the basic stuff. I didn't…
  • hahaha love it
  • I think that's great. Years ago when I quit smoking (the first time) I took a class to help me. He gave lots of tips, but the one that helped me the most was just like you said. You choose to eat healthy (or not smoke) today. Thinking that way helped me a lot because the thought of never smoking again was scary at the…
  • These are my favorite, especially the one about avoiding eating things that are too complicated to log. HAHAHAH awesome
