I am so very sorry for your loss. That is so heart-breaking. And what is just adding salt to the wound is that your body IS still acting like anyone's who has had a baby. Your body is still recovering from the pregnancy, c section and all the stress you have been through. I hope you have an awesome support group to help…

It is the most awesone feeling in the world! I've been twice and would give almost anything to afford lessons to jump myself. I've been hangliding also (for my oldest sons 10th b-day) and loved that also. I hope you get to go soon and love every thrilling, stomache turning moment! :-)

I just want to get yo my goal and continue eating right so I don't gain back.

Oh I am so sorry. :-( I can imagine how that felt... I've been with people when that happened to them and know how I felt for them. Please don't use this as a jump off point to mess up all the hard work you've put in. Use it as an affirmation of determination to win this challenge. Promise yourself that at the fair next…

Mine is too!!! :-) I'm still kinda new (two months) to MFP and only have a couple friends from real life. I would love to meet a few others who can help cheer up my news feed. I could also use all the support for those willing! lol Of course I think we all could use support and encouragement. :-) And anyone with advice on…

Hey Everyone! I'm brand new to this group and love this idea of a twin! I am fairly new to MFP (only about 7 weeks in) and would love to meet a couple people. Age: 38 Height: 5'5" Kids: 4 (11 boy, 9 boy, 4 boy and our "surprise" girl 3) HW: during my first pregnancy I got to 196 and stopped weighing myself SW: 160 when I…

I know, right?! LOL Maybe I should get "extra" burned calories because it wasn't even my house. :-) I really liked that first site you listed. It says I should have burned 622 calories for the three hours! Some how, unfortunately, that just didn't seem right. :-) I guess if I'm going to be conservative I'll say 450 for…

Thank you everyone for the responses. I have ever only thought of exercise as a way to loose weight. And until I started having my kids I never needed to bother with that. A very different story now. :-) So, what I get is exercise can help you TONE the muscle which makes you look better and clothes fit better. It can also…

Hey! I started MFP about a month ago. I am tooooo close to 40 and a mom of 4. My husband supports me but has no interest in changing how he eats and exercises. Even though he needs it a lot more than me. Any how... I need to improve how I look for myself but also because I worry my kids will follow in my old footsteps and…

Thank you so much! I know many others were saying the same thing but I think the way you said it made it clear to me. :-) Thanks!

So what do I do if I exercise last minute in the day and don't get a chance to eat the calories back? This happens frequently due to kids schedules and trying to FIND the time to exercise. Do I eat the calories back the next day? Or just let it go?
