  • A few weeks ago I went to the ER because I had severe chest pain that ran down my arm. After some testing, they determined my heart is healthy as a horse, but I had injured myself somehow and strained my muscles. I felt really silly but I was glad I figured out what was wrong. Have you consulted a physician? I am not a…
  • You rock! Congrats....I hope to follow in your footsteps someday.
  • I bought this for my PS2 a couple years ago based on the reccomendation of someone who lost several pounds using this as their main form of exercise. I think it's really fun and my kids love it too, so it's aerobic fun for the whole family.
  • I saw this too - I even went to the website to read more about it. I am planning on watching the series. I agree - rule #3 definitely works - I tried it at dinner last night and definitely felt fuller on a smaller amount of food than I normally would. I tried to get my nine year old son to do the same as he probably…
  • Sorry for the bad situations going on right now, have been there myself and I know how draining it is. I too have a tendency to weigh myself too much - I think your plan is a good one. Good luck with everything!
  • 1/3 cup Chappaqua crunch granola with raspberries mixed into 1/2 cup Dannon Activa plain yogurt - the only thing I've found so far that keeps me from getting hungry an hour later, and I really like it.
  • That is awesome! All the other ones I ever used showed me a weight that felt impossible to get to, but I think I can work with this new info - thanks! :flowerforyou:
  • that's where I was last night - finished woring out at 9pm and realized that I had about 450 more calories to eat, but I didn't feel like it. I think part of the issue is that I'm already mad at myself. I have this vacation planned at the end of June and I SOO do not want to be the size I am now. If I had started in…
  • Excuse my ignorance :embarassed: , but how much is a stone? I always wondered...
  • I used to tell myself the same thing about diet pepsi, which is my favorite. When I did weight watchers, the rule was you could drink some other no-cal liquids but you had to make at least half of your fluid intake water. Even though it is calorie-less, diet rite is just not the same. I have gone through stages of not…
  • :indifferent: Today was my first weigh-in, one week from my "official" start. I am down one pound, which I guess is better than nothing, but I was hoping for a little more, esp. considering I weighed myself several times during the week and I was down 2 lbs a couple days ago. I didn't eat anything particularly salty or…
  • OK, thanks everyone! I am going to just go to bed then. I appreciate the feedback!:flowerforyou:
  • I am on day 3 of eating within the 1200 calorie limit. I just exercised and had a snack, and after everything netted, I still have 200+ calories that I was supposed to eat today. Do I still eat more, or just call it a day? It's 11pm and I'm not really hungry, but I can just about always eat.
  • Anybody planning to cook Easter dinner? I am looking for some healthy things to make. I usually try out a new dish or two at each holiday.
  • I have a friend that lost over 150 lbs by keeping to a strict diet and exercise regimen during the week and then having a cheat day on Sundays. He has kept the weight off for a few years now too. I have known him a long time, and like many of us, he spent many years losing and regaining. Addiction runs in his family and he…
  • Hi Everyone! I am a mom to a 3 year old and a 9 year old, & I work part time at a sedentary job. I have been up and down the scale, esp. since having kids. The other day I ripped the only pair of jeans I own that fit me right now, and I really feel like I am at a "crisis" point. I know if I go buy another pair I will not…
