Still doing lots of stuff re exercise, however food has been a real issue for me and I've done a fair bit of binge eating :-( Anyway here I am back at it again. So anyway time to…

  • Hi everyone, I'm Lou from Adelaide in Australia. I started running about three years ago and have been addicted ever since. I've completed a few fun runs ranging from 5ks to 12ks. 3 half marathons and hoping to complete my first full in August this year. Have mostly trained on my own and finally built up the confidence to…

  • I live in Australia. It let me join but has since disappeared from my news feeds. Not sure what the deal is with that.
  • I'm also one for greek Yoghurt berries and banana.
  • 30min pt session and 15 min walk on treadmill.
  • I started with simply walking. I also then joined a gym and had a personal trainer show me what to do. I've tried different things such as Zumba and boxing. Hated Zumba loved boxing. I got into running because someone said to me as I joke that I couldn't do it. I started simply by walking a little then running a little and…
  • There's lots of different toppings you could have on toast. Cottage cheese, tomato, cheese, avocado, salmon, ham, bacon.
  • Are you able to speak to your doctor and seek help in other ways especially if you suffering from depression as well. For myself I found seeing a psychologist helpful. Helped me with many things including depression and eating issues. Not saying it still doesn't happen these says but they are now extremely less often.…
  • Was going for a rest day. Walked to the shops instead of driving. 10min there and 10min back. Plus another 30min walk.
  • If you do have a lot of calories to spare maybe try and add in some extra protein which is filling. Such as smoothies, nuts, yoghurt, eggs. Also drinking extra water and maybe going for a walk. I tend to often go over in sugar but it's natural sugar from fruit and veg so I don't worry about it. also it's ok to eat things…
  • Did a 20km walk/jog/run.
  • 10min walk on treadmill. Upper body weights & jump rope.
  • I normally have four breakfast go betweens, all which I normally prep the night before. Omelette:1 whole egg, 2 egg white with either spinach, mushroom & tomato Greek yoghurt with frozen berries or strawberries sometimes will add oats on top. Muesli which I premix in large container myself. Oats, shredded coconut, pumpkin…
  • Having the support definitely helps but if you can't get it at home look for other sources. Such as online or maybe speaking to your doctor. For myself I've seeked help via a councillor at a couple of different times in my life and it did helped. It taught me to identify the reasons on why I binged and ways to tackle it.…
  • I'm not vegan but am vegetarian. I do eat things like cheese, eggs and Greek yoghurt. My macros are usually carbs 50%, protein 30%, fats 20%. I have tried a lower fat ratio but find this difficult as I normally include foods such as hummus, avocado, olive oil and nuts in my diet which all have a higher fat ratio. From my…
  • Congratulations, that's fantastic
  • Grocery run in Australia have them out for $38.95 plus shipping at the moment.
  • Fantastic achievement.
  • Hi, all is good here. Did slack off for a week. But now back on track. Did my long run day today which I am always super hungry after that but should still come under deficit. Have a great day.
  • Thanks skim for the advice. Totally agree need to do what's best for me. I was a little hungry a couple of mornings this week which would make sense as I've been sticking to my eating plan. So ate a rice cracker on the way to the gym. Doesn't sound like much but it was light and enough to settle the hunger till I got home.…
