I find work outs on an empty stomach to be most uncomfortable. I feel dizzy, light headed. I make myself eat whole grains + proteins (egg, cottage cheese) before i go to the gym for a work out class, whether cardio or strength training.

I suppose we all have habits and quirks that are 'strange' to others. I like gym classes because when everyone is so into it, it pushes me to go further (and i really need to be pushed!)

I go to classes with a coach so have to listen to the instructions. Mind you, i wear ear plugs because the sound gets so high and i already have a damaged ear from going to too many concerts. It's the fact that some yapp away constantly that i don't get. Why don't they just yapp over coffee?

You could set your MFP to sedentary as default and download a podometer for your smart phone. That way, you could deduct a few calories on the days you have been 'active' at work. Otherwise, I wouldn't worry too much about the 'active' days and treat them as 'bonus expense'. And whatever you do, don't use those days to eat…

This thread made me LOL because. I was never ever the type to go to the gym, let alone be asked to be someone's gym buddy. But now, I can kinda see it. I admit i am happy when I go to classes at the gym and see a familiar face or two. Especially the rounder ones at the back of the class ... which is where i sweat!

My biggest issue is to find underwear that will "contain" and "hold in place" when i do cardio work outs (jumping jacks etc...) I end up wearing a Champion bra which I got in the US plus a 'sports bra' on top of it for extra support... Clothes are nightmarish indeed

On posts like this, i am glad i don't live in the US anymore but i miss Taco Hell so much !!!! LOL Recently read they opened 2 Chipotles in Paris and may have to take a trip JUST for that chicken burrito!!!! Otherwise, my biggest "sin" was chocolate chocolate chocolate in bed, right before falling asleep !

I have recently tried coconut water flavored with lime. It is absolutely delicious, if you like the taste of coconut of course. The brand i found has a bit of agave syrup in it about 33 cal for 100ml - i do have to measure so that i don't 'splurge' on it. I would not recommend aloe juice which tasted really funny (in a bad…
