Cardio workout on mini trampoline

Hello everyone,
My gym offers a class which is a cardio work out on a mini trampoline.
It involves powerwalking and jumps such as jumping jacks and jumps with raising your knees, your arms, you catch the spirit i'm sure.
My question is: would exercising on the mini trampoline be better for my lower back (which has a tendency to pinch my nerves and trigger sciatica) than doing the same type of motions on the ground?
Does the trampoline "soften the impacts" ?

For some reason, the mini trampoline class also seems a lot more challenging than the cardio workout "on the ground"...

What are your thoughts/ experience ?

Thank you

  • No thoughts or opinion?
  • i have seen some videos of it and it looks very intense and would definitely burn calories

not sure about your lower back - only way would be to give it a go and take it easy and see how your back is?
  • Thank you for the input! It does look really intense, I may wait until I get in better shape.

the question re sciatica -ask a medical professional

but generally, the best exercise is whatever you enjoy and will stick to long term.
