Actually yeah. At the hospital that I work at you have to pass a physical fitness test before you are offered employment. They also have a voluntary program for employees. You receive a certain amount of points for things like not smoking, eating well, and exercise each day. At the end of each month you trade your points…

I hear ya. People didn't start noticing until I had lost 30 lbs. I also think that sometimes people keep their comments to themselves out of fear that they might offend you, especially if they don't know that you're trying to loose weight. Congratulations, and keep up the hard work!

Welcome! I'm sure you'll find lots of support here. Best wishes!

Welcome! I am 5'1 and I started at 158. I am at 128 currently. The weight loss is super noticeable on people our size! I have a couple pics on my profile, but they aren't great. Feel free to add me as a friend! Good luck on your journey!

I love Cardio Trainer

I had the same problem with my arms and abs. Really what helps is to get your cardio in and the weight will start coming off all over. You can work specific muscles all day, but the results can't be seen until the weight loss takes effect. :)

Thats true. I just feel like 98-130 is a huge range.

Cardio Trainer! It's free, it has an option to upgrade but the free version is loaded with features like google maps, music and voice output integration, workout schedule and reminders and widgets. Awesome free app!

Congrats on your NSV! Running is awesome

I am a bare Minerals and Ulta addict among others (ie mac, stilla, I could go on for days) I am a cosmetologist but decided nursing was a more practical career blah!

Ok So sorry I am blowing this up. You can use a heart rate monitor that will keep track of the time and distance or you can use a phone app such as cardio trainer that will keep track of those and even give you a map and statistics of your run. Cardio Trainer has a ton of cool features.

btw: I personally don't like treadmills, I love running outside. Treadmills to me are boring, outside I can be distracted by the scenery.Of course you know what works best for you! Good Luck!

If you throw up count everything that you ate. However, if I were sick I would listen to my body and give it what it needs to recover. I wouldn't log until I was well and healthy again. Feel Better Soon!

I have always have good workouts on Exercise TV On Demand with comcast. I also record a series of workouts or singles on my DVR, just in case. I'm sure other cable companies have something similar?

I like working out first thing in the morning, but I usually do late ones a couple times a week, like 7 or 8 pm. I start work at 6 am half the week and 5 pm the other half, so I just get it in when I can. Working out any time is better than not no matter what time!
