Ask yourself if you'd do the same for something he was passionate about but that likely bore you. If you would do that thing, solely because it would make him happy and feel supported, then you're not on the same wavelength and this will be a constant problem in your marriage.

Typically I have a salad for lunch. Today that didn't work. There's some oatmeal in the shake. I don't know if that's a very good source of grains but I usually use the shake as a meal replacement.

I thought with the exception of today I used up my allowed calories pretty well. Maybe not? I enjoy the protein shakes and lunch salad quite a bit.
