I have literally been forcing myself to eat something. Today I snacked on a lot of strawberries and I got hungry after the gym. Maybe it was just a fluke thing?

I kept my drinks for the weekend. But when I did want one during the week I made sure I had the cals for it. Simple google can help you find out just how much your drink of choice has in it.

I say buy smart! Go to the dollar store and buy some cheap knock off candies you wouldn't touch! Kids arent picky so they'll eat it but when its sitting in the hand out bowl and you're staring at it, you might think twice if it's something you don't like. Sadly there really aren't any good looking shoes for inserts. I have to wear them too. I used to wear hightop converse with them, because I could get them nice and snug, plus there is no padding in them that'll raise the inserts even more. Push ups, sit ups, and run! Those are the standard exercises that they test for in basic. They will have them do pull ups but not for PT tests. My husbands in the army. ;]

Well I am just above that at 5'7" my current weight is 163... I started on MFP at 185 back in Feb. I have the same issue...the only thing to do is to strengthen your knee muscles. Cardio is what you are worried about, I presume. Swimming is best for people with injuries because our bodys are bouyant in the water...which is why you can lift anyone in water. Good luck!

I'd love to know too! My husband was brought up on microwave food too! He's in the Army so sometime its short lunches, so i bend and buy things like pizza rolls, chicken patties, corn dogs..ect

It really depends... If I am dancing and cleaning I just log cleaning....I only log cleaning if I brake a sweat. Hahah Amazing! I recently went to Disneyland for a day...and just for fun added the walking on here. We we're there from 8am- 3pm in that time of "leisurely pace" I burned 1100 cals. I too felt no guilt about the pizza I ate from there when I saw those numbers! ;]

Not everyone needs to eat every three hours. The only people I have ever know who needed to eat every three hours have a thyroid issue. The 3-4 hour waiting time frame allows the food to be further along in digestion and not fresh in your stomach. If you eat right before, all the acids to brake said food down will be hard…

you might want to try waiting 3-4 hours after eating. You'll get a better burn if you eat after instead of before, too. I always had acid reflux if I tried to work out too soon. ;]

I have noticed the same thing with sweets!! It could be the simplest thing as a fiber bar...and I don't even know if I can finish it. Soda as well. I know they make diet coke with splenda ( I have seen it) but I can't find it anywhere so i get stuck with regular diet coke and that is even sweet. =]
