Big difference! Great work

To get down below 80 kg. It's also the upper limit of normal BMI for me.

Coffee, water, coca cola...

Check out Nia Shanks. She offers a free mini course (you can buy other programs too but this free program is quite enough to begin with), 3 workouts per week.

I'm following a lifting program by Nia Shanks. I'll continue with that and then start another one, not sure which one, she has some great programs to choose from.. It will probably be either one based around lifting or bodyweight. We'll see if I can get to a gym this spring or not.

Strength training and staying within my calorie limit most of the time.

Well done! I think I'll try your approach to calories and logging, I've been stuck lately. Congrats on your progress.

Squats, lunges, deadlifts.

I haven't been to a gym at all, never have while losing weight. This time around I started with just Leslie Sansone walking videos, turns out my neurological condition makes me not tolerate exercise like that very well so a few months in I found pilates. Did only that (random videos at my level) for 6 months. Just recently…

To be able to do pull-ups/chin-ups Be able to eat intuitively instead of counting calories To like what I see in the mirror. I already do, but I have a certain look in mind.

How difficult it is for me to NOT eat whatever I want just because I feel like it at the moment..

I'd try food scale and accurate, honest logging. I've been bouncing around losing the same 5 pounds over and over again for a while now, but if I'm being honest with myself it's because I haven't been as strict as I used to be. I eat at maintenance or over a lot more than I should. At least that's what I discover when I…

Nia Shanks has lifting programs, even some for free. Nothing complicated but very effective and fun.

I definitely feel like I need more food now than in the beginning, even though I'm lighter now.. O.o

My first round of weight loss was with the "help" of my very own Starvation Diet, a year after I had my twins. I had NO idea what I was doing, how much I should be eating, etc. We didn't have internet then back in 2004 so no way to do research. All I had was my recipe book with a chapter at the end about cooking for weight…

About 30 minutes of lifting on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, usually a 20 minute walk on non-lifting days. That's it. I've been doing this a month now, excellent results so far. I see and feel the difference. I used to do pilates every day for about 6 months but lost my motivation and started lifting instead. I…

Congrats on getting close to your goal! I'm in the same situation and I've been thinking about that too..

My weight loss is just fluctuations. It can be frustrating but at least now with experience I know it's ok.

Awesome!! Congratulations!

I told myself that it didn't matter because I'm married anyway (haha) and I never wear revealing clothes, so... Oh, and I'm very tall so "it doesn't show". Well it does, looking at photos I was always the giant in the room... Everyone else looked tiny next to me. :open_mouth: My health is what finally made me wake up. I…

I stayed below my calorie limit today. Doesn't happen too often these days! ;)
-
Congratulations! Great progress

Yes. Lost 28 pounds so far doing just that. :)

I stay at my BMR which is just above 1600. Lost the first 10 kg or so eating at 1800 though.. I still have difficulties some days sticking to my goal, so I don't understand how others can manage at 1200.. :o

My goal is somewhere around 160 pounds/73 kg (I'm 180 cm tall). I remember being quite happy there, not too big but also not "skinny". I have very skinny shoulders, calves and arms so when my weight gets too low I look like a stick, basically.. 73 kg should be good. Probably not too difficult to maintain either.

Be honest. In weighing (get a digital food scale), logging, eating. If you eat something and don't log it, the only person you are lying to is yourself and that's not a good habit..
