Take the pictures now! You don't have to look at them now but in a couple of months when you are ready to take some progress pictures you will be so glad to have them. I have a hard time seeing the difference in my body day to day but, the difference over time, as evidenced by the progress photos is awesome! Good luck to…

Good idea! Thanks for that.

I like the way you think! Congrats on your first, too :)

You look wonderful and have a beautiful family! Thank you for sharing your story and for the inspiration!

Some of these sound delish. Thanks for the great ideas!

I like to look at the "reports" when I feel my motivation slipping. Something about that downward line that brings be back to the reality that I am rocking this. Also, I find that reading the "Success Stories" gives me a little boost...

I was down .6 this week. I get annoyed with the little losses but, looking back over my reports, it seems to be my trend to have a big loss one week, then little to no loss, then a big loss, etc. Its hard to stay motivated when you don't see the loss you know you earned by working hard and staying w/ in your calorie goal…

Awesome! Love your attitude and your goal. I know you'll hit your New Year's goal!

Thanks! I will definitely check that out!

Nice Lulu! Great work!

Thank you both for your advice! I just can't believe I can actually "run." Not something I ever thought I'd be able to say!

I agree about the tbs./tbsp. adding up. Have you tried, instead of pouring the salad dressing, dipping your fork in before putting the salad on? That is one of the few helpful tricks I learned at WW years ago and I find that I use so much less but still have the satisfaction of the taste with every bite.

I have a hard time remembering that it is not a contest. I'm a naturally competitive person so, on the inside I'm competing with you all but will do my best not to project that  As far as exercise, I either go to the gym or walk/jog in my neighborhood 5x per week. I lift heavy (to me) 2x per week right now and hope…

Was down 3.25 this morning. It was unexpected since I'm feeling a little sore and was just over my calorie goal a few days last week (damn those mini Halloween candy bars). I'll take it though. Down 5.25 since the group started. Good luck to everyone else weighing today and the rest of the week!

Great job, lulu! 218 is a a milestone for me and I can't wait to see it! It was what I weighed when I graduated from college. I had been working hard at weight watchers for several months and it was my goal to graduate weighing less than I did when I graduated from high school. At 5'9, I felt pretty good at 218 (I was size…

I weigh on Wednesdays, too. I was down 2lbs this morning. So, 32lbs total and 2 since joining the group. Congrats on your loss :)

Name: Jayme Age: 28 Height: 5'9" SW: 293 UGW: 160-170 CW: 263 Great idea about the 10lb goals! I have a 13 month old son and my husband and I are thinking of trying for another munchkin in the next 3-6 months so I am here to get my health in check both for my own sake, and for the future of our fam. Good luck to everyone!

I was about 100 lbs overweight when I got pregnant w/ my son in Jan 2012. Everything went well until about 31 weeks when my blood pressure spiked and I ended up in the hospital. After that adventure, I was put on bp medication and had to be induced early because, even with the medication, my pressure was a little unstable…

I'd love to join, too!

Congratulations! Probably best to consult with your doctor, as previous posters mentioned BUT maybe try eating at maintenance and keep up whatever exercise you currently do. As you get farther along, add in some additional calories at your doctors recommendation. That way, you are acknowledging your commitment to both…

Definitely not anywhere near my mouth, or on my thighs. I prefer it in the trash can. Bleh.

Im in a similar boat with 100+ to go. I was planning on doing this w/out adding friends but, after reading so many success stories that attributed their loss to being held accountable by their friends, I'm having a change of heart. I just started a couple weeks ago too but I would love some new friends to keep me honest :)
