Here the contact tracers ask who you have been in close contact with for at least 15 minutes. I guess because you don't know the names of everyone you passed at Walmart.

I did not notice a reduction in allergies with weight loss. That sucks. My boobs shrunk, but not enough to but inexpensive OTR bras. I'm still a 30E/32DDD. What I consider 'small' still isn't really absolutely small. So their droopy AND I still have to shell out large sums of money for support. I was as high as a 32N/34M.…

This amuses me a little. At my Walmart, I had to go down one aisle and turn around - right where people were waiting in line to drop off prescriptions. So they were standing 6' back, only for me to have to loop around them to enter the aisle at the correct direction. Not well thought out. I didn't see any double rows…

I measure my natural waist only, I'm a woman. It's higher than my navel. I have heard both for men, either their navel or their natural waist. I assumed the "navel" was for measuring when the waist was...rounder? than the ribs and hips. If you have a defined waist, I'd measure that. It seems more accurate.

My main Walmart started a remodel before covid and finished at the beginning. I still can't find stuff. The bread and coffee used to be at the front, now they are 2/3 the way back! This may be why I was having to "look" for stuff, come to think of it. I was in that store.

We have low cases in our county too. We try to make a list. I was having trouble making a list this time because I'm on a special diet for 7-10 days and I literally had to shop for stuff to find stuff I could eat. Whether or not you have a list, you might not realize something on your list is down an aisle until you pass…

It's really complex. Then again, I lost weight to right between my high school and college weight, I mean exactly. Probably what I weighed when I stopped developing. I'm having a hard time losing weight from here, but a super easy time maintaining. DH has lost weight back to what he was at in his early 20s, but is having a…

LOL yeah, but it also means I spend more time in the store around other people, and those extra steps cause me to walk past more people, where if I just walked where I needed, I might not pass those people. So, does it really cut down risk? Or make it riskier?
-
I kept passing an isle, looking down and seeing something I need, then having to go forward to the next isle and double back (or back up, to the isle before), it sure did create a lot of extra steps.

No, it's not something I've seen either. I was at the grocery store today, at the self-check, the woman at the self-check next to me kept apologizing to the woman behind her for taking so long, and the woman waiting kept assuring her it was no problem and not to stress about it. They went back and forth for several minutes…

Mask usage has gone WAY up here. I have only seen masks for sale in the past two weeks to the public, but I only shop once a week so I could have missed it earlier. 3 weeks ago I was saddened by the low mask usage. I went to the store today and probably saw the highest mask usage to date. I rarely saw people without them,…

I think some people have a psychological thing about it. I had a haircut last weekend, I wore my mask the whole time and it was just me and the stylist in the building. She left me under the hood for a while and when she got back she said she was shocked I wore my mask the whole time under the hood while she wasn't even…

I haven't read all the replies. For those who say mask usage is low where you are, what is the availability of masks? I saw low mask usage in the last couple of weeks, probably since we went into phase 1 on May 4th. Suddenly, mask usage is going up. But also, I JUST started seeing masks for sale in regular stores - Target,…

I haven't seen a bill for mine yet (antibody) - dr office made me sign a form saying I understood it may not be covered. Now my insurance says on their website that they will cover all covid related treatment and testing with no copays. They also refunded my copay for therapy because I did teletherapy. Now if you give…

What kind of tendonitis? I have peroneal tendonitis, losing weight definitely helped. But only when I got all the way to down to a healthy weight. Mine still flairs if I do the wrong things. It is a chronic condition, but it can be managed, at least in my experience. I did see a chiropractor when it was bothering me. I use…

Thanks for the welcome. I've had to take a break because my hip impingement pain came back. I am going to keep working out, but if I'm having hip pain I'm considering a plan with 50 squats a day (25 working weight, 10 air, 2x5 empty bar, and 1x5 halfway between bar and working weight) may just not be right, as much as I…

I'm sooooo lazy. I weigh the total dry rice, it says 4 servings weighs so many grams...so I do. I cook, THEN I eyeball the servings. I mean if it's 4 servings, and I get 8 scoops, then two scoops is a serving. We eat rice once in a blue moon though, if it were something we ate more often I might be more picky. Pasta I just…

I think this is sad. She was injured badly enough to go to the hospital and her biggest concern was that someone had seen her human body.

I don't think a very mild butt wink is bad, but if it is a major rounding of the spine, you should probably not go so deep. Mine starts to wink at the bottom, I don't push it farther.

Sometimes I wear cotton thongs, sometimes I go commando. The thong is to absorb the sweat. They have to be cotton, synthetics smell over time. IRL I have been wearing undies less and less, unless I'm wearing jeans or it's that time of the month...I'm probably going commando. But, when it's that time of the month, I wear…

No, it doesn't matter. For weight loss, calories are KING. The ups and downs in the macros are a wash, so you went over on fat - you are under on carbs and protein. Just a hint - you can adjust those. I adjust my protein up, my fat up, and my carbs down. It helps you avoid red numbers if they bother you.

They really won't, women have been wearing bum rolls and hip pads for centuries. I'm pretty interested in historical fashion. Until very recently, the clothes made the body. Add a roll here, ruffles there, you could have the "in" shape you wanted with a little engineering. You didn't have to inject things into your body or…

Well, to update, MIL offered us a free recumbent one. It's not what we'd pick, but the price is right. Activity is activity. She bought it, then her doctor told her it would not be a good idea with her physical limitations, so it hasn't even been out of the box.

Genetics, mostly. I have mild hip dips, I do not mind them in the least.

That is technically not a regular exercise bike, I've always heard that referred to as an "assault bike" - it's a little more hardcore than we are going for. I've used one at the gym for HIIT-style, but it isn't what I'm looking for.

Yesterday I did: Squat 5x5 @ 90lbs OHP 5x5 @ 55lbs DL 2x5 @ 125lbs All lifts went well. Sore today. Did brisk walking between sets to keep my heart rate up, wasn't feeling the jump rope. I haven't been sleeping well, so I'm feeling tired today.

Thanks. I've checked craigslist and I haven't seen anything in my area, but you have to check frequently you never know when stuff will pop up. Bought a fridge recently off craigstlist I'm really happy with. We have an olympic bar and weights, a half rack, both from DH before we met (that stuff lasts!) We also build a DIY…

I'm a mom. I have a great butt. I had a great butt before kids, and I have strong glutes. I lift heavy weights and do compound lifts that incorporate the glutes. I don't have a big butt. It's proportional. I've done Bret Contreas Strong Curves (I did advanced, but I just finished another lifting program). My butt looks…

Sure, just log your food. You may set your meals "food before eating window" (so you will be able to see if you eat before your window often) "during eating window", and "food after eating window" - you may further break up the middle category further into meals and snacks or what have you. I've used this app to lose…

Rather boring update: Yesterday I did: Squat 5x5 @ 85lbs Bench 5x5 @ 55lbs Barbell Row 5x5 @ 75lbs I pulled something in my shoulder a little on my 25th barbell row, I've taped it up good with some KT tape - KT tape for the shoulder is FANTASTIC. Everything felt good and moved well, except that last row. I didn't do…
